I bought this cage for my two parrotlettes and they love it. Plenty of room for two little birds. Easy to put together and to clean. Only thing to be aware of is it might not be able to go through a patio door with the bottom piece attached.

Excellent, quality product. This was made so well that it made assembly easy. I could do most of it by myself but there were a couple times when I needed a second set of hands. TIP: Do NOT tighten the screws as you put it together because the top is pretty tricky to align with the holes and you’ll need wiggle room with the walls to do it. I highly recommend this item!
Also, the plastic tray is cracked but I could either return it for an exchange or refund but chose to get a partial refund. I’m not sure how else they could ship this heavy metal cage and break the plastic.

This is an excellent cage!
I have read many reviews that Prevue makes good quality cages, but I have to say this cage is really nicely made. No scratches or uneven railing. Everything came in perfect condition in its boxing. The packaging and wrapping was neat and protective. Shipping was extremely quick with prime. I received my cage in two days. I really have no complaint.
Personal opinion:
1. Ascetically speaking, the cage is refined. There was NO chipped paint (and they even included paint and brush for accidents!). The pagoda styled metal spheres make it look very elegant and different from other indoor cages I’ve had.
I feel that this cage was aimed for indoor purposes; however, I often leave my bird’s cage in my courtyard. There has been no instances of rust yet. I feel this cage can absolutely be outside for any mild weather condition.
2. Structurally, the cage is easy to assemble, clean and innovative.
– I love that the tray on the bottom can easily be taken off and sealed by a metal guard (so it wont slip out).
-The doors are impressive and original. One must press the metal clamps together to open the cage’s doors, which heavily protect smart birdys’ from biting or figuring their way out.
3. Wheels do not have to be inserted into the bottom of the cage’s pegs.
-There are options: either add the wheels, or do not add the wheels (there is a plastic cover on the pegs that will not damage or scrape the floor)
-I have hardwood and the wheels are smooth and slick. There has been no damage done to my hardwood or limestone flooring.
-I can easily roll the cage from one room to another.
I’ve built many cages and this cage is at an intermediate level to build but its doable, if you follow the directions, and with a little logic and tactic you can assemble it in a hour.
My conure loves his new cage and assimilated quickly in it!

This cage is well supported. By that I mean to say, the instructions I received were in simple English and with clear enough photos too, that even someone who had worked a full work shift and was 1/2 asleep could easily put this cage together (as I did). Further, the manufacture honors their warranty without any additional cost, which I used to replace the plastic seed catching tray (which is the only plastic part you’ll have).
It is true that some of the bars may need to be popped into the holes, but I simply used a screwdriver as leverage and in they went. Beyond that, this cage is rock solid and very sturdy.
I even like that you can decide whether to have to food trays on top (as seen on the photo here on Amazon) or have them below (as seen in the instruction). I highly recommend you place your food dishes below as it will help manage the mess that birds make, plus it will give your birds more room to play around (since most birds like to remain high above). But again, the choice is yours.
The seed guards (or spill guards) on this cage are solid and very easy to install. I find many (other) cages out there, basically have you conducting a balancing act, while you try to screw things together. With this cage, that is not the case as they actually have placement holders (it is like having an extra pair of hands). The guards also line up correctly, leaving virtually no gap between themselves and the cage (meaning fewer seeds on the floor of you home).
The wheels provided are not the usual cheap plastic wheels that you find virtually everywhere else (which often break). This cage has a metal housing around the wheel and inside is a very large, hard plastic ball. The design means it will not scuff up your wood floors, yet it will also not jam or crack should seeds find their way (the ball will crush the seed and keep rolling with ease). The wheels also swivel in any direction you roll it, making it for easy mobility (not fighting against you) and yet hold enough weight so that the cage is not rolling on its own (should your floor be uneven).
The food dishes (you’ll get 3) are solid stainless steel making for easy cleaning. They are neither super shallow or deep, which means your birds will be given the exact amount of food and water… ie… They can easily reach the bottom of the dish, so food is not wasted, and yet enough food to hold them over (2 – 3 days with cockatiels, which I have 2 of).
The cage comes with 2 sturdy purchases. They kind that are good enough for my cockatiels, but not something they’re going to chew through. I also found this case had enough space that I was able to install a few extra purchases I had so my cage now has a total of 4, plus a purchase swing on top and a lava ledge (for chewing). So you should have enough room for a few toys of your own.
Finally, I believe the main doors to be child proof and birds escape proof. Most (other) cages have a simple latch or button and while that may sound nice, just about any 4-year-old can push a button or pull a latch. Ironically, so can smarter birds. This cage has a pinch bar, which means you need to gently squeeze the two tabs together to release the lock. Which is something a bird could never do given the distance and while it is straightforward enough to use, your child can pull on the door all he or she wants, nothing is going to happen. lol
I bought this case Prevue Pet Products Pagoda Cockatiel Cage, Coco and Cream to replace my old cage New Large Play Top Bird Cage Parrot Finch Macaw Birdcages Heavy Duty which we had for 7 years, but it was damaged during a move (our fault) and the old cage had been long since discontinued. I needed a home for 2 cockatiel birds (named Phoenix and Athena). Ideally, it needed to be big enough for them to play around in, yet not take up as much room as my old cage once did.
I would strongly recommend this cage.

This is a gorgeous cage for my cockatiels, and is incredibly spacious–just what I was looking for. When I was sent the cage initially, the box was totally beat up and the front bars were bent and damaged to the point where it couldn’t even be assembled. I wasn’t happy with it and Amazon sent out a replacement ASAP. Here it is almost a week later (and in great condition!).
Pros:
– This is a beautiful cage; the colors and design really shine and it’s a great size for cockatiels.
-The bar spacing is adequate for birds of this size, and the doors on the front are easy to use.
-Cage panels with food bowl slots are interchangeable. They can be put on the top or bottom of the cage. I put them near the bottom so that they can utilize the entire cage since they tend to only hang out at the top.
Cons:
-The plastic tray on the bottom. Why did they cheap out on this part? There already was a minor crack on in the plastic but we cover the bottom with newspapers anyway.
-There were a lot of minor scuffs and scratches on the bars that had to be covered with the included touch up paint.
-A little flimsy but not bad. This is compared to our previous Prevue iron cage.
-The packaging. I really wish they’d reinforce the box a bit before sending it out.
Overall I’m really happy with it, and I’d happily recommend it for people with 1-3 cockatiels. You really can’t beat the price either here on Amazon.

Amazing, roomy cage for a cockatiel! It was easy to put together, but the only thing I’d change about it would be to keep the height, but make the cage wider. Cockatiels are going to spend most of their time at the top of the cage, so the usable space isn’t as much as it could be. However I knew what I was buying and it’s a good cage regardless!
