I have a very messy Indian Ringneck and the mess they make puts the mess of budgies and cockatiels to shame, and believe it or not, this is the 6th and last type of bird cage available to for me to try! Not the other 5 cages are fine for budgies, cockatielsd, and birds that don’t make huge messes.
The other 5 were not optimal for cleaning as the bird invariably preferred to perch on top of the cage near the edge rather than a perch inside the cage so I’d have to lug the whole cage outside to the garden hose to scrub if the cage was small enough. Two of the past cages with too big so I’d have to scrub them on the spot. Huge mess then afterwards to clean up on my wood floors. The 5th cage, with a small play stand on top, were close to being good enough but it wasn’t quite there.
This cage is the last type I can try and it should work. I would of tried this cage sooner but I wrongly assumed it was flimsy. I was wrong. I am glad I finally happened upon this cage.
Why is this cage better:
1) Heavy strength gage wire and wire spacing for a medium sized parrot.
2) Heavy coat of hard black enamel paint makes clean up of bars easy when needed.
3) Maximum size you can buy and still fit in the back seat of an average US passenger vehicle.
4) Nice sturdy cage stand with shelf that you can store the bird’s food on convenient to the cage.
5) An arch shaped roof that discourages the bird from perch very long on it so easier clean up.
6) The arched roof opens so that you place a perch in it and now the bird can perch on the top of the cage via the perch and no mess on the top or side of the cage bars or, as typical, on your floor and cage stand because they would have to perch at the edge of the top of the cage on account of their tails needing clearance.
7) On the subject of birds being messing the plastic pull out litter tray is very light weight and a hard brittle plastic that makes it easier to clean although I put paper towels on top.
8) Easy to put together, I did it very relaxed with no need to call on even a middling bit of muscle strength, in 40 minutes. Everything just fit together so easily. I can’t even complain about warped bars and such making the put together slightly more difficult.
So I finally have a cage my Indian Ringneck is comfortable in and that I can feed and clean completely for her easily every day in 10 minutes or less so I’m a happy camper with this cage; I only wish I had tried in before all the expense and mess of the other 5 cages I tried.

It was really easy to assemble(25 mins), but I did need a few zip ties to keep the top on nice and tight as the clips don’t hold particularly well by themselves.
The bars are all vertical which causes my quaker to slide a bit sometimes. Also, you have a hard time attaching food/water bowls that are meant for a horizontal attachment. If you don’t get them super tight and birdie stands on them or climbs in for a bath they slide.
The bar for the sunroof is too long but works diagonally until I have the time to cut/notch it. As much as I liked the looks of this, for birdie’s comfort a flat roof would have been better. Putting a platform or perch on the exterior allows it to still work comfortably. The curve of the roof only allows you to put perches/tors on 2 sides unless you use extenders or hang things from the cross bars of top doors.
SS bowls are way too deep for small birds so I just left them off and used my own. I do like the side feed doors, pull out pan and pull out bottom grate. They make it super easy to clean. Wheels move very easily over all surfaces(tile, rugs, wood) and lock if you need them to. We are 2 weeks into this cage now and overall it is visually pleasing to me, roomy for my bird and easy to keep clean.

Bought two of these for a pair of green cheek conures who can’t get along. The cage is sturdy and strong. It’s thoughtfully designed to have “back up” fastenings to make sure it doesn’t come apart. Bar width is for larger birds NO PARAKEETS. The conures are as small as I’d go with this. The perches provides are too large. They’re for large parrots, so have your own if your bird is smaller. Bottom trays are a little snug and tight to pull out, but I think they’ll get easier with use. If you’ve put together IKEA stuff or other bird cages, these are easy. Sadly, I can’t figure out how to put on the food cups without additional washers – brain fart, I’m sure. One cage came damaged, but no big deal. Nice and big and better than expected.

Ok, so this product is well priced compar d to the shops let’s face it. Now the Cage is huge. And allows for plenty of space. Clean up is easy enough and you just get some spray every 2-3 months spray stuff down get it nice and fresh your good to go. The only issue I have is the hood. There are two hooks that are kinda flimsy that I can never tell if they are going to give way or not. And the entire hood cave in. I fixed this by using 3 drawstrings and tighted it up and now it is in place won’t happen I suggest the same. Cost me 99cents for a pack of 20. Still better then the pet mart stores. Am I right.
Other then that this Cage is wonderful. She loves it. I do not have a single complaint. And for the record..the hood never came off..I was just paranoid.

My green cheeked conuir loves her new home. She lived in a little house shaped home for 22 years. This Yaheetech 59-inch Dome home has about 4 square inches of added room and is sturdier than her older home.
Ozzie never gave her old home a second glance. She was excited about the new home and took to it like a duck takes to water.
I like the storage shelf and the fact that it easily rolls so I can move with unit wherever I need it to be.
Small parrots will live it. I highly recommend it.

My cockatiel who is only 5 months old absolutely loves the space in this cage. Her favorite spot is at the very very top when I pull out the perch for her to sit across the top. The box was a little messed up but everything else was in great condition. I only had to bend two bars back into place and it looked absolutely perfect. I set it up, which I recommend not setting it up while your bird chews your directions lol. But it was easy and really sturdy, she was very excited and so was I. I highly recommend this cage for cockatiels or smaller. I used to have this same one for my budgie who passed a year and a half ago, they’ve upgraded it since then.
