I’ve had a similar style for the last few years, but with a spring loaded top. The bigger birds have managed to break two of them.
This is the same shape, but the top loads differently and should hold up better. It has drainage holes in the feed tray so that moisture doesn’t build up. And it’s my favorite color!
Julie Covington –
Very beautiful, and easy to set up. Very classy look. I’m ordering another one.
KV Trout –
I like the bird feeder The raccoons and squirrels kept taking the top off my other one. They still eat the bird food. At least they don’t empty all food out on the ground.

We love this birdfeeder. It is sturdy and easy to hang and Phil. Bought it in red and it’s just beautiful. It is metal and glass so yes, the squirrels do eat out of it (they are welcome here) but they don’t destroy it as they did the plastic and wooden feeders that we had.
Joe Clay –
It works as described. I do like how easy it is to fill. You leave the hanger on the line. Then you can easily take the top off and fill it. It is just as easy to reinstall the feeder to the hanger.
James A. Cole –
This economical feeder works great and birds love it. Many types. Easy to fill and hang.

critters usually can’t eat metal. the plastic feeders are basically junk and don’t last very long.I bought it was metal and attractive
Kimberly D. McCabe –
So in general, I do recommend this bird feeder. But for some reason, we can’t get any birds to eat from it!
I doubt that it’s because of the feeder itself. We have lots of birds around here, and we bought it for Cardinals which we see all around our neighborhood.
But for some reason they will not eat from it.
So like I said, I’m assuming this is not the fault of the bird feeder, which is overall a well-made feeder for a decent price.
