I’ve always wanted to put suet out as well as my bird seed. The fact that this has 2 suet holders as well as a cute and sturdy feeder was just what I wanted. It attracts lots of birds. BUT…the biggest surprise was when I looked out and there was a pileated woodpecker happily feeding at the suet!! I’ve had smaller woodpeckers just at the seed feeders and I have seen the pileated in the woods near my house but I never thought he would come so close to the house. I wish I could have gotten a picture.

My birds love the feeder. I wish I had bird that enjoyed the suet part – maybe they do and I just never see them. But either way – the birds are enjoying themselves out in the tree line. The color is bright enough where I can see it from a distance and enjoy it. The clear plexiglass makes it easy to tell when it needs to be refilled. The cable is very strong – held the feeder on the shepherd crook through a really terrible wind storm. No damage. Will buy another one if I get more suet eating birds.

Perfect for our birds. Does not make a mess like our other bird feeder.

I like the feeder. The birds like it. I like that it’s plastic, it won’t rust.

I loved this bird feeder. It’s beautiful and easy to fill. The birds loved it. However, I’m buying another once since the only down side is it’s not bear proof…LOL! Our friendly neighborhood black bear decided he would help himself to it. He knocked down the entire shepherd’s hook, broke the glass, and tore the metal apart holding the suet cakes in place. I don’t think any bird feeder could be bear proof. I won’t be adding suet cakes for quite a while since I think that’s what attracted the bear. I highly recommend the bird feeder, but not the bear…LOL!

I purchased this feeder a few months ago because I liked all of color choices. For the last 2 and a half months all of the birds loved it. It’s easy to fill and is sturdy. I just came back from a long weekend away and there was a dead bird on one of the side suet areas. I did not have the suet areas filled before I left. It looks like the poor little bird got his foot stuck on something. Not sure if it’s a design flaw or not, but I won’t chance having another bird die so we threw the feeder away. I’m really disappointed as I was enjoying watching all of the birds this summer.
Edit- after I left this review the seller reached out to me and reimbursed me for the feeder. They stated this is the first time they have heard of the issue. Hopefully it was just a fluke and won’t happen to anyone else.
