Bonjour attention non adaptée aux gecko léopard car de base il faut un 60x40x45 la il fait que 50x35x25 beaucoup trop petit

Everything in the tank was a total mess, the reptisand bag had a hole in it, so everything was covered in sand. The water conditioner was also open which matted ALOT of the sand together and to the inside of the tank. Finally got everything out and cleaned all the sand out of the tank, to find out there’s two large cracks going across the bottom. Would not recommend

This set up was perfect for my son’s first gecko (although for an authentic review you’d really need to ask the gecko). It came with everything we needed (except a house, which we made out of part of a small box, and that seemed to work fine). The only other things we needed were some crickets, mealworms and the gecko. Worth the money, and amazed nothing arrived broken given that it was packed without cushioning of any sort. Highly recommend.

My son is 11 years old and has been very excited about getting a leopard gecko. After a lot of research he decided on the Zoo Med Starter Kit. Upon arrival of this item it became apparent that apart from the initial expense of the kit he would need to spend more as the tank was extremely basic with no hides or moss, no heat mat or plants etc., and to add to that it appears that in order to leave the daylight lamp on for 12-14 hours as advised the wattage of the bulb was to high which could be dangerous.
My son, although is extremely happy with the tank he has created has had to spend an awful lot of his pocket money to make sure it is set up correctly for this reptile and I feel we were misled in thinking that the starter kit was adequate.
I would like to know your thoughts on this and therefore look forward to hearing from you.

Everything was great except for the Sand. The Geckos accidently eat it too often while trying to eat and it makes them sick.

Literally came in broken so frustrating and you can not use sand it can cause them to get an impaction so kit is not the best considering it’s built for a gecko better off buying things individually or from store.

Should be a starter kit for a leopard gecko, but it isn’t quite that. It comes with sand, which we learned juvenile (under 1 yr) geckos eat and causes impaction and could kill them. It doesn’t include any hides but a fairly useless food bowl (crickets hop around so no need for a bowl). The first one arrived with the glass smashed. We did the return and got a second one – this one had a tear in the top screen and the sand was ripped open. Packaged poorly.
The tank itself is okay, the heating lamps do as they should. Temperature gauge not the most accurate.
What most would want in a starter kit is convenience of not having to buy everything separately and this does some, but not all.
