The hard dry Arizona land is impossible to dig into and this thing just cuts it up. The power is pretty incredible for the size and it’s easy to assemble. Def worth the money. Very sturdy

Light weight, easy to handle ( yes, even for a 5’3 woman) first pass took out weeds and small rocks, second pass added some top soil and horse manure and garden was ready to plant! Be sure to clean tangled weeds off propeller after first pass so it doesn’t overheat. Worked perfectly for my new 12×6 garden!

I’ll start by saying I have never used a piece of equipment like this before, so I really have no point of comparison to measure this tiller against. For my particular project, I wanted to level my yard for an above ground pool. Dig out some soil from the highlands, and add it to the lowlands. Simple… or at least I thought it would be, but apparently my yard is 70-85% rocks! Oh, and bricks too, definitely bricks! I wish I was exaggerating, but there really are a ton of large rocks and bricks back there, I have no idea why.
Its tough work, but I want my pool and am not willing to spend an arm and a leg hiring the job out, so I bought this tiller to help break up the soil and make it easier to dig out.
This thing is POWERFUL! When I first started it up, I had to really hold on tight! it nearly got away from me! It has been strong enough to dislodge so many huge rocks out of the tightly packed earth and made it SO much easier to dig out! Its still a lot of work for the area I’m digging, but I don’t think I could do it at all if I didn’t have this tiller! For the price, I’m not sure what I expected, but I truly couldn’t be happier with how it performs, (unless it finishes the job by itself.)
I can’t speak for durability, as I’ve only just started using it, but performance has been top notch so far! I highly recommend this equipment!

Does a good job of breaking up compacted dirt. I was surprised at how well it worked on ground that I have been driving on for a couple of years. It does bounce around when I started on the hard dirt but it settled down once it got through the top crust. Have to wait and see how long the blades last. It is light for me to lift and move around, I’m 70 and not in the best of shape.

This tiller is absolutely worth the money I paid for. I was hesitant at first to buy because my backyard is nothing but Arizona desert, dry & hard dirt. But this worked amazing digging in like butter into the dirt. It came up easily. Just recommend wetting dirt enough to avoid dust but not to much where it gets muddy. Bumpy in the beginning if you never use it before but with some time it gets easy to get use; very powerful and got the job done.

The 13 amp motor seems to have plenty of power. Turned my two (smaller) garden beds into smooth fluffy soil for planting in no time. Only complaint is it throw out soil from the side when working close to the side of garden beds. I’m sure all will do this if they don’t have a flap/shield on the ends, which would be nice. Cleaned up nicely with hose/brush and light enough to hang from garage ceiling for storage. Overall, very pleased.

This product struggles to cut through hard packed clay soils but the main issue is that the bolts came loose and seal on the gear housing failed after using this for 30 mins. Somehow the nut and bolt on the wheel adjustment came loose and was lost causing the wheels to be useless.
