I like the color, a good contrast with a white pickguard (in my case a 2002 Crafted in Japan 57′ reissue). Some have griped about the back plate not matching in mint green. Ok it is not an exact match (very slight mint) but close enough for a reissue. Besides what is there to compare it to unless you display your guitar with mirrors? My only issue was the trem bar tip but that is more likely due to my bar. My original was a bear to unscrew. And I had to use a dremel with a long tile cutter to slowly and slightly ream out the inside. It fits now and everything looks very cool. Good deal for the price.

The knobs fit great give a good contrast against the white pickguard my strat came with. Back plate color does not match the knobs but I ended up keeping the original white backplate.

One of the my favorite thigns about Strats is how easy they are to modify/customize. After about 10 years with my American Standard, I was itching to change up the look so I changed out the pickguard and then wanted to give it a nice vintage look with some aged knobs and pickup covers. I didn’t need the back plate but this kit was cheaper than buying all the parts I wanted seperately. The back plate is a single-ply, mint green so if you go for a mint green pickguard and want the aged accessories, this will give you a matching back plate. You can never go wrong with real Fender parts.

These added the pop that I wanted to my guitar. I added these on my 93′ MIM strat. Everything matches well except the backplate. Te back plate is a little smaller than the OEM one, and therefore has a little gap at the top which makes it look cheap. The back plate is also a slightly different color which I’m not sure if that is the way it would naturally look if it were to age like the vintage nitro cellulose, or it’s a QC problem. None the less I bought this kit for the pickup covers and knobs.

It matched my prewired pick guard perfectly. The video might make the color look more yellow but, the parts are tan/beige. Except for the back plate, I would call that cream. The tremolo tip was a very tight fit. I had to put it in hot water to get it to go on the bar easy. Good value for all of the parts. Received sooner than expected.

I ordered the “Aged White” accessory kit for my Candy Apple Red strat. which I also ordered a “Crème” off brand pickguard for it as well. This “Aged White” is a color I would describe as “CREME” as well, as it matches up very well with the pickguard. I would say they look exactly the same color as they do in the photo. The items are all really easy to apply and everything lined up as planned. This is a really cheap upgrade and dramatically improved the look of my Fender Strat! Worth $20 for sure. Really did give my 2014 Strat a nice look that I would describe as “Retro” rather than aged, which is what I wanted. Hope this helped! 🙂

Perfect just what I wanted to complete the look of my guitar. I have a brand new vintage reissue Squier Strat – one of the lovely Indonesian made ones. I wanted to add the off-white dials, pickup covers and switch just to give it some extra vintage character and the quality is excellent being genuine Fender parts. A little tip for anyone who finds the switch cap won’t stay on – push a tiny amount of Blutac inside first which will make it a snug and secure fit.
