My, new to me, classic car did not come with the siren for an existing Viper 300+ alarm system. I took a chance and bought this one instead of the official Viper siren. I just connected the two wires, and it works like a charm. I’m glad it’s 6dB quieter for arming, as it is loud enough as it is. I haven’t tried the actual alarm to see how much louder it gets from the siren, but I’m happy with it as-is.

ワイスピ音とは違い結構、高音です。
4極リレーを使いエンジンルーム内のホーンヒューズ裏側から電源を取りました。
他の方のレビューで赤黒線が+とあったので結線しましたが鳴らなかったのでバッテリ直結して確かめたら赤線が+だったので結線やり直したらしっかり鳴りました。
車のマイナスコントロールかプラスコントロールの違いでしょうか?
音が大きすぎたのでサイレントヒル部分に防音シートを貼り穴を空けてあります。

I bought this because it advertised the chirp sound, and not the siren sound. I was disappointed. But kept it anyway, as I can’t seem to find a speaker with the actual chirp sound. Its a great speaker and works like all the others….it just doesn’t make the chirp sound. Maybe I will find somewhere else to use it like on the house alarm system.

以前使用していたサイレンの音がこもる様な音になった為購入しました。前の物より小型で取付交換もスムーズに行えました。価格も比較的安く購入できたのではと思います。他のサイトで若干安い同製品がありましたが問題無しです。日本語版の取説があれば、もっと良かったですが。さほど難しい説明では無いので問題は無かったのですが。他のサイトを検索したら、日本語の取説を検索できました。

Bought this as a Revenger siren replacement for the siren that came with my Viper 3100V after it stopped working, this siren wired up the same, looks pretty identical, and sounds the same to me. Buy this and the Viper 3100VX (no siren) and save a little money over the 3100V, 5 stars.

The product came open with no instructions. Installed it and it doesn’t work right. Sometimes it churps and sometimes it doesn’t. I waited too long to return it. I don’t recommend it.

今まで取り付けていた514Jが壊れて音が出なくなったので入れ替え購入。
音量配線は切らずソフトチャープのままで取り付けましたが、今までの514Jと比べてこれでソフトチャープか？ってぐらい音が大きかったです。
514Jが経年劣化で徐々に音量が小さくなっていたのかもしれませんが。
音質は少し高音になりましたね。
電子制御的な味付けももちろんありますが、スピーカーや楽器などの音響関係はボディが大きいと低音まで出るし、逆に小さければ高音寄りで低音を出すのが苦手になるのは致し方ないことなので。
音質的な部分でも、今までの514Jが劣化していたのかもしれませんが。
過去の製品より、最近のスピーカーは小型になっているので高音寄りにはなってしまうかと思います。
音にもこだわる方は好き嫌いあるとは思いますが、防犯目的が第一で音が鳴ることが大事な私にとっては新品にしたことで音も大きくなり、心做しか音のキレも良くなったように感じるので満足でした。
