Had a few features more then my icarsoft i930 tool like resets transmission adaptions and engine ones and opens and closes brakes but that’s about it. I’m trying to diagnose a transmission and want to know which selenoids are failing to cause the 3-4 slip or a 4-5 one. It’s usually the valve body rubber pistons that are wore, or selenoids, and my land rover has same transmission 6hp26 as BMW or Jaguar or Audi and those scanners can talk to selenoids. Like activate and close selonoids so you hear them click that means they work. This one can’t. Just basic codes like 3-4 slip. I need to find better land rover tool that’s around this price range. Both these scanners are a must for resetting suspension airbags on LR3.

Glad I bought this. Not cheap, but even with buying additional software for other cars I own, it has already paid for itself, especially with an airbag issue whose codes can be hard to read.

I find the trouble on my XK8 1999 with FOXWELL NT510 Elite OBD2 Scanner ; The NT510 Elite detect misfire on cylinder #1 ; I change the ignition coil #1 and the car is like new !! restricted performance disappear on the display of the car … NT510 do the job

It doesn’t do everything that it says it does I need to buy a better model if you want to do more things with it this one’s limited and it doesn’t do a Mercedes like it says is does not compatible, Land Rover limited…..

The main reason I bought this unit, amongst its other features, was to reprogram key fobs on my Land Rover, but that feature isn’t showing. For the Jaguar, the feature is available but not the Land Rover. I have updated the unit. And I haven’t heard back from support on the issue.
UPDATE – Foxwell customer support has since really worked with me to rectify the issues. Unfortunately it won’t program key fobs, it does supply more diagnostic info than I could imagine for a unit at this price. Even though it was past the return date, they offered to take it back and refund my money. I decided to keep it and they offered to give a partial refund for my inconvenience. A slow start but I am happy with the purchase.

Chinese made crap that you cannot update. It will NOT communicate with your PC, or with their PC software app. Therefore you cannot update the firmware for any vehicle. As usual from China, the instructions are full of errors.

Works well. It can read transmition codes reset values and set suspention height. Everything I’ve needed it for so.far it can do. Probably the best value scanner you can get for a land rover.

This item performs exactly as described and I am well satisfied with it. My only regret is I should have checked other on line sales outlets some of which had significantly better pricing than Amazon.
