Adding this switch to my Skx has brought it one more step closer to the feel and playing techniques that I used on my old C3 and my Bill Beer chop. Feels like home!

It’s easy to install and set up. Appears to be good quality and as stated above, has the right feel.

Well worth the cost, I’m very glad to have it.

There’s some conflicting posts about if this will work with the original neo ventilator but mine works perfectly without any problems. Would recommend this product

I LOVE this unit; except for one thing … and it’s a big thing (for me, at least). I use it on a Hammond XK1-C. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Flipping the switch is fantastic! However, buyer beware. I wanted to use the unit with a footswitch that I had purchased earlier. You can’t! The toggle on the Hammond can be used with a footswitch OR the CU-1. You can’t have a footswitch and a CU-1 operating at the same time. I even contacted Hammond about this and they confirmed. Disappointing. This half-moon unit is great, but don’t expect to use it in tandem with a footswitch.

Works great but am really disappointed in Hammond for making it so expensive. Shame on you Hammond! It’s probably worth about 50. bucks tops! It’s basically a switch that has both brake and slow/fast positions. If you play B3 and are used to this you’re probably gonna have to fork out the 180. for this thing. I have a Hammond SK-2 and needed it since I play bass pedals but if you don’t play pedals, I would just buy a momentary foot switch for slow and fast and use the onboard switch for the brake.

This seems to be a well-constructed unit. I’ve now used it on three gigs with my Hammond SK-2 without any mechanical or electrical issues.

Be warned that the SK-2 (apparently) does not look at the state of the CU-1 switch when you change presets. In other words, if the CU-1 is set to Chorale and the preset has the Tremolo setting selected the preset will play the Tremolo effect. You must manually move the CU-1 to Tremolo and then, when you change settings on the CU-1 the SK2 preset will read the CU-1 setting(s) and act appropriately. This is not the way that a real Leslie acts. Perhaps I need to research the SK-2 manual again (for some parameter that I missed) but this surprised me at first. After awhile it felt better.

First off the knob is not like the original classic half moon switch. I didn’t think I would feel a difference, but I did. Next it is not a smooth transition from tremolo to chorale. I knew there would be some resistance because of the stop position, but man, it is clunky. Works as expected though.
