I haven’t had these drums for very long, but I am happy with them for now. I’m a beginning drummer but I’m advancing very quickly. I have a background in music, so I’m learning to play by reading drum sheet music and an awesome interactive web App. called Tomplay.com. If your new to any instrument, not just the drums, or even an advanced player, you should check this out. It’s like playing in a band. I’m not advertising for this company, but it a fantastic learning tool and I have advanced light years because of it. As far as these drums go, I have nothing to compare them too, but I am happy with them, except for a few issues with the cymbals. The rubber on the High Hat and the Ride cymbal is coming off. This is not a deal breaker and I’ll probably just glue them back down. But in all honesty, it does say something about the quality of these drums. I purchased them about 45 days ago and I have around 175 hours on them. I also purchased the Alesis Strike 8 Amp but the sound was not very good. I exchanged it for the Alesis Strike 12 which sounds FANTASTIC. According to family members who have heard me play, the sound is really good. I use the headphones that came with it most of the time and I’ll tell you, they sound great. When I use the Strike 12, it can rock the house and sounds amazing. I would recommend these drums even with the miner flaws. I love playing the drums and my end game is to play in a Praise and Worship Group. In all reality, I will probably upgrade to a professional set in the future, maybe even a set of Acoustic drums. But for now, these drums get the job done, they sound great and have excellent feed back quality with no delay what so ever. Keep rocking and GOD bless you all!
