This hand guard works great. It didn’t fit the student horn that I temporarily had but it perfectly fits my current horn. It feels nice and isn’t it the way.

For the most part, it fits my Conn 8D, but the length of it is pretty short, enough to where it’s uncomfortable to use on my horn. I intended to use this on a Pacman 20, but it’s to small for it.

Super soft. Even the Velcro is soft as to not scratch the horn. The only problem I have is that this guard is still too small for my Holton H179. The Velcro is holding on by the grace of god down by the pinky rest. If you’re serious about your playing, I’d recommend buying a better quality guard, however, this guard works well in a pinch too.

This fits my Hans Hoyer double French horn (about 50+ years old) perfectly. It’s easy to put on and very comfortable to use (unlike bulky neoprene wraps).

The guard is very comfortable and nice material. I’ve had it for a couples of months and it’s holding up well so far.
The only problem is that it doesn’t for my particular horn (Reynolds, not sure what size/kind) very well because of the position of the lead pipe. Check out the photos to get a better idea. That being said, I was able to still wrap it in such a way that it is secure and is perfectly comfortable. So in the end I’m very satisfied with my purchase and have no real complaints, especially given the price.
