I love Pirastro Strings. The Tonicas are a definite good “foot-in-the-door” set of strings.
Solid, and bright. String Tempering takes about a day or so, but not a bad set for $40!
Ines e Tolentino –
Liked the strings, a had loose windings. E was defective and got replaced, barely even fit my finetuners. Liked the strings in general and would keep them. Good sound projection.

I purchased twice recently, but D string is damaged in both purchases.
Paul –
I really liked the tone after I put them on my son’s violin. Unfortunately after 4 months the A string began to unravel.

We used to go to music store to get the violin strings replaced. It was good but a bit more expensive. Now my son learned how to replace string himself. So we gave it a try with this product. Turned out to be a perfect solution. Recommend it to whoever knows how to DIY string replacement.
