Love these stands. I Purchased one a couple months back and liked it so much that I ordered another. Well designed, extremely sturdy and easy to use. They can be a little tough to get the legs open if you are used to the friction lock slide type of stand but after a little practice they become easy to use and they just feel sturdier to me. The built in size adapter is handy and locks in the up and down position so you don’t have to worry about it disappearing.
The air assist makes raising speakers effortless. I use Mackie SRM450’s and with the air assist raising and lowering the speakers takes just a small amount of effort.

As soon as you unscrew the top knob, the bar starts raising and if you don’t have a speaker or anything to hold it down, you will need help to bring the pole back down and turn the knob to hold in position.
Really awesome! What a price for this compared to other retailers… for a pair I saved $ 150 at minimum.

Upon opening the box and trying the stand, the little metal pushpin inside the top of the riser tube popped out and rolled across the floor, rendering the stand useless for the size hole in my speaker. It fell off the spring that it’s pressed and cross-peened into. The design of this stand works with 2 different size mounting holes by pressing the pins on both sides of the tube and sliding up a smaller tube. But, the cross-peening that holds the little metal pin to the spring inside the riser tube was done very poorly and the pin fell off. It says it has a lifetime warranty. I thought, “I’ll give them a call on the number provided with the product, and when I tell them about their simple manufacturing defect on a 50 cent part, they’ll send me a new spring with properly attached pins.” Man, was I wrong. The woman at their call center said I had to send in pictures of the manufacturing defect, a picture of the entire product, proof of purchase and then they would determine whether this was covered under their warranty, or not. So, I called again to see what some other call center agent would say. She took a different approach. She said if I bought it from Amazon, there is no warranty, and my only recourse is to return to Amazon. So, I’m returning it.

Nice? Not at all. Just trying to run me through bureaucratic processes, push me away, refuse warranty coverage, and ultimately get off the phone quickly. Neither lady that I talked to at Ultimate even bothered to find out what the problem was. They just started telling me the hoops I had to jump through and why they weren’t going to get the problem fixed.
Hard working? Maybe overworked.
Distinguished among others? Ultimate is distinct in my mind as a company that over promises, then under delivers.
Their “distinguished support” could have let me tell them what part was defective out of the box, then dropped the part in the mail to me. I would have been happy, and impressed that they would do business the old fashioned way. Instead, I’m returning the stand to Amazon and looking for something else to buy.

I already own Ultimate products and have been impressed with the quality.
The TS-100s are very heavy duty (they weigh more than twice as much as my old Ultimate stands, probably due to the hydraulics). At first, I didn’t realize
that there was an inner sleeve in the tube that you have to pull out and
lock to fit the recesses in the bottom of my JBLs (no actual instruction or diagram included in the paperwork!). The stands work really well, however, with a 43 lb. speaker, it elevates the speaker a lot slower (you have to help it a little)than the demonstration in the NAMM show video. They are, however working out great! I would rate it a 5, if not for the lack of thorough illustrations in the included instructions.

I run a karaoke business, and my speakers are rather heavy. These air-powered speakers are great. Instead of having to lift my heavy speakers to a 6 ft height, I can now “collapse” the stand to 3.5 ft and set the speaker onto the stand, and raise it accordingly.
Best money I ever spent.

These stands were the sturdiest of all that I looked at. I can tell you that after doing alot of checking and shopping around – There are a lot of cheap/flimsy stands out there – These are not – I also found the price to be competative and the added air lift feature is awesome. They hoist my Line 6 speakers up to almost 8 feet effortlessly.

The air assist when raising the speakers is incredible, My speakers are 15″ and weigh over 45 pounds (21 Kilo) and the airlift picks them up without a problem. Lowering the speakers is simple as well, I just grab the speaker handle pull down and take them off the stand. THESE ARE AMAZING STANDS… I used the older set of stands without the air recently and it made me realize just how wonderful these stands really are… SPEND THE EXTRA $$ You will be glad you did… I know I am

These are without a doubt the best speaker stands around today. Very sturdy craftsmanship with high quality parts. The lift assist works great with speakers 50lbs and under. Just note that if you raise it without a speaker, it’ll put muscles in your arms lowering it.
Excellent product…and the shipping was on point. Ordered 2 stands on a Friday…received them on the following Tuesday with a snow day the Monday before! What!!!!
