This is a great water scooter but definitely KNOW your limitations. I would recommend staying in shallow water if you’re not a strong swimmer. First off it is on the heavy side so floating while holding it may be an issue for someone. Second it is powerful. In deeper water you’ll go deep, faster than you think, so be cautious and know your physical limits. All this being said this scooter is TONS of fun. Living 10min from the beach my family spends 60% of our life in the water. We have run this scooter dead so many times during our beach outings. The only thing that would have made this scooter so much better would have been a second battery. 3 Speeds are more than enough for anyone. My 12 year old never moves past the first speed and enjoys it. It is well made and easy to operate. It will take a little getting used to play around with it till you are comfortable and have fun! Family approved!!

We got this for our kids to enjoy on summer swimmer excursions this upcoming summer, and I think it is going to be a plast for them. The scooter includes everything you need to get going, the scooter, a large capacity reachargable battery, chargers (US & Europe style adaptes included), the manual, and a PVC dry bag to store the scooter in. The operation is pretty simple, you slide in the battery pack and lock it into place with tabs on eiher side, and hold down both paddle triggers to accelerate once you are in the water. There are twin propellers on each side and once you get it going, you can tell how impressive the power is. We have not tested it thoroughly yet but another reviewer said you can expect about 30 minutes of battery time, which I think is pretty good. It seems you could probably order a 2nd battery back from Asiwo. A quick google search reveals that they are available on their website for $200, if you are really looking to extend the fun of trade them out while charging.
For run in the pool to actual scuba or even snorkel, this little sea scooter packs a lot of punch in a pretty small form factor. It feels well made and completely sealed for lots of use and there is also a detailed instruction booklet that explains everything. There’s a lot to like here for people who love to get out into the water and enjoy.

 This scooter works right out of the box aside from charging the battery. The overall design is perfect, and this is not complicated with a bunch of buttons.
I gave this to my 14-year-old son and had him try it out in the pool and it works right away. You pull the go lever and it takes off right away. Also, the way this thing shifts is very easy to operate with you just having to click your right hand twice and it changes it to a higher gear. There was no assembly required aside from charging the battery and place it at the bottom of the scooter, which was very simple and easy to figure out. You didn’t really need the instructions for this. Instructions do tell you how to care for it and want you to rinse it off if you use it in seawater. I also do really like the this comes with the bag that you can carry it in and there’s only one battery to charge and cord to worry about. Both my kids are about 135 pounds and it pulled them Pretty easily. In the video I showed just in the pool, which was easier to demonstrate how it worked. Also, this is great as it does have a leash for it that you can attach to your wrist. In the pool, having a leash is not that big of a deal but if you are going to play with this in the ocean or a lake, I consider this a must have addition to this type of a toy. They list the battery life to be 35 minutes and while I did not have a stopwatch, this did proved to be pretty accurate timing wise.
This was a ton of fun for my kids and their friends at the pool and lots of people are coming over to play with it and thought this thing was a blast. I don’t know. I would consider using this for an application in deep sea Open water applications, but it would work pretty well in a lake or a calm ocean.
The summer is young, but this looks to be like a great investment for my kids and they’ve loved playing with it in the pool so far.

So excited to get this! Charged it before I used it and this little baby moves! Remember this is a recreational water scooter…but it’s super strong. If your looking for something fun to mess around with in your pool or whatever types of water your playing in this one won’t disappoint. I ordered a second one for my husband because I don’t want to share!! LOL have fun!
