Excellent product: I admit to low expectations since I chose Altler over Bowflex and others. I was very wrong. The weights are sturdy. The individual weight units are secure during lifts. The weight units switch easily in the cradle. There was a small glitch in the beginning. I found that the weights did not change when the handle was turned. The problem was cured by pulling the handle off on the lowest setting and orienting the weights so the inner curve of the metal faced in the same direction. I have the weights in parallel in my home office. When I turn the handles outward, weight increases. Inward, weight decreases. Spectacular product. Ignore anti-Asian comments and trolls who disrespected quality or safety.
After two months of use, still spectacular. I have them in my home office. I use them daily.
Your money is well spent on these weights.

Thank God my husband was not doing anything overhead. we were working out, rear delts, and one of the weights fell off and smashed his pinky toe. we attempted to proceed but the other side fell off. not smashing anything this time.
From the beginning we’ve not had the best experience with these. yes, we bought them because the price was cheapest we found with 52lbs; and i suppose that is the saying, you get what you pay for.
in the beginning, we’d have trouble changing weights, they wouldn’t always attach the the dumb bell we’d have to drop it back down and readjust. plus getting the weights back to the base wasn’t always smooth either. in comparison to a Walmart brand CAP, these are horrible.

Got this set of dumbbells for my wife and myself to use at home. Figured it’d be pretty poor quality given the price but was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and materials use. Super easy to change from 3-22lbs. Just need to make sure you insert the handle in the same direction which you pulled the weights out so that the weights are aligned properly. Hard to explain but easy to see in person when looking at the weights sitting in the holder. Otherwise it prevents the rotating handle from adding additional weights. Only minor downside with these types of adjustable dumbbells is that the weights do clunk around a little when you’re lifting the dumbbells (like doing a curl or military press) but that’s an inherent issue with all these types of system as the weight discs are just a little loose on the handle. Not a big deal as you’ll get used to noise but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, I am super happy with them and would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for something to use when you can’t get to the gym easily.

Sturdy, easy-to-use design. Simply turn the handle while in the base and easily adjusts to the desired weight. Great price for both weights. Saves space, which was exactly what I wanted.

No namebrand adjustable weights significantly cheaper than brand names like bow, flex, etc. they do exactly as they were designed to do work perfect for my needs and I am very happy with them. I did find that the weights only go on one way so if for some reason, you can’t make the adjustment check to see that the weights are all facing the right direction awaits stay on very securely

There are plenty of images already so I won’t bother posting anymore. They look just like the photos.
They do an okay job at being dumbbells.
However, the increment is somewhere around 12-13lbs, arbitrarily set at 3lbs, 16lbs, 28lbs, 40lbs and 52lbs, which makes planning my workout much more difficult than it should (who goes from 16lbs to 28lbs?).
The construction is not great, as they jiggle a lot when I do curls. Throws me off rhythm.
It feels okay when you pick it up. But putting down requires you to wiggle its way into the slots, which can be annoying when it’s 52lbs.
Overall, if you just need something at home to work out, I guess it’s okay for the price. If you really want quality workouts AND you can afford more, I wouldn’t recommend it.

These adjustable dumbbells are at a great price point. I use them often and they work fine. There are 2 things that are a slight nuisance. First it can sometimes be difficult to to put the weights back when not using the full weight, as you have to make sure they dumbbell is in the correct direction and lined up perfect to get it back on the tray. Secondly when you pick your weight up off the tray, you should wiggle the handle back and fourth to ensure it is locked, because if you don’t, and it isn’t in the locked position one of the weights may fall off.

These weights saved a ton of space in my gym. They take the place of 8 dumbells and are so easy to use. The grip fits your hand well. The versatility of being able to just spin the handle and change the weight makes these a great buy for any home gym.
