I really liked the style and quality, but Amazon suggested the size I should order and I thought I would believe them. But, I really needed one size up. It felt very tight under the bust line. The length was a tad longer than expected, I’m about 5′ 5″. But it had a nice sewn hem on the bottom. The black shorts could have been a little longer. I thought maybe they would have been navy to match the swimsuit. They are completely separate. “Tummy comtrol” does not really describe this set. The swimsuit is loose and hides the area. The shorts could gave been higher waisted and offered more control. I will return this and get the next size up now that I know how it fits on me. It was nice quality fabric. I needed a suit in two days…hoping I would use it on vacation, but, I will try again.

I absolutely LOVE this swimdress and I wear it almost daily! It’s beautiful, fits well, and is what I was hoping it would be. Last year I ordered this same bathing suit but in a different color and a smaller size since I’ve lost 20 pounds since I bought the last bathing suit. I can still wear both, the other one is just a bit looser. So comfortable and I love the fact that it is tummy controlled. I also love the fact that it’s a dress style and covers up my upper thighs. Also, wash and dry nicely. I am looking forward to our trip to Hawaii again since I spend hours in the water… ocean and pool.

The bust line was way too high; if I pulled it down, I had major cleavage and if I left it alone my breasts were hanging out of the bottom. I will be returning for a diff style.

As a woman of a certain age, I decided to look into a swim dress that was cute but also modest. This swim dress is it! I tried on five others but this was by far the most flattering and easy to wear. The boy shorts fit great and the dress swings around your hips and thighs loosely and comfortably. I took it for a swim in Lake Michigan and it works well. I thought the extra material would bother me or float up in the water but it’s not the case. I will wear it with my grandkids and feel like a feminine and stylish grandmother!
I am taking one star off for the effort it takes to take off the swim dress, which is over your head. In some ways I which it were a one piece (exclude the boy shorts) and a suit that I could pull up over my hips instead of lifting over my head. The empire waist band is snug and makes it hard to take the suit off. That’s my only complaint.

I’m 5′ 7″, 127 lbs, and have a long torso. I bought size XS.
Pros:
•Seems to be well made.
•Colors are as represented on product images.
•Good coverage; modest. The length goes to my fingertips. I have shortish arms and a long torso, so the length may vary on other body types.
•High waistband, bow detail, and flared skirt are flattering for my figure type.
•Waistband fits well. Not too tight or too loose.
•Bust has padded cups that are removable, but secure. They seem like they will prevent “headlights,” which is important to me.
•Everything feels very secure, covered, and modest. This includes the neckline, which does not reveal any cleaveage (not that I really have any to speak of), when bending forward.
Cons:
•Arm holes are too tight and constructing. This honestly may be the deal breaker for me. While I appreciate the coverage they provide, I plan to swim in this suit and I feel like the arm holes may end up chaffing and feeling too tight when doing various strokes. Even without moving my arms, they feel too snug. I have very small arms, so I can’t image this suit fitting anyone comfortably in the arm area.
•Bust area has weird bunching underneath, where the gathers are, which is not flattering to my size 34A bust. If you have a bit more cleavage, that might help fill it out and not cause the odd silhouette. See pics.
•I wish this set had navy blue shorts to match the background color of the top piece. Instead, they are black. Not a deal breaker, but a minor annoyance. I think all the sets have black shorts.
In summary, as much as I like most aspects of this set, I’m leaning toward returning it, due to the tight armhole situation. So disappointing. I thought I had finally found a nice modest and secure swimsuit to wear in public.
