It was super comfy (compared to others I’d tried). I wanted wider softer straps, modesty, the ability to side sleep comfortably (security), breathability.
The straps are comfy. It’s so-so on headlight modesty. The pinkish color doesn’t show too much through clothes–unless you’re a person of color in which case I imagine the contrast can be quite stark.
During my second wear after washing cold and hanging to dry, I had a sleepless night where I woke up constantly feeling that I was falling out (I was). I tried relegating it to day-use, but bent over to pick something up and fell out of the cup in public. That was the last straw, and I’m chagrined to say I have 2 since I was at max capacity with my first one. The plastic-y fabric was not breathable enough and my skin started to break out–it’s hot and humid where I live.
I’m now searching for ones that have no “V” cut at all to avoid the falling out. I’d thought this one came up high enough to keep things in place. I wish I could return them but it took too long to figure out they just don’t work for me!

I wanted this to work so badly. The fabric is soft and stretchy which is a plus, but I would never be able to do any physical activity in this. It is too stretchy and not enough support. The band is also too tight in comparison to the fabric. There is no enough support to wear this in public with large breasts. I am keeping for a sleeping/pumping bra although the band is uncomfortable, I’ve already worn it so I won’t return. The openings for pumping are too low and to the side. Really have to manipulate the fabric and I have to wear a tight shirt on top to keep the pump in place as the bra itself can’t hold my pump in place from the top. Definitely not worth the price!

I love this bra so much, this was the second one I purchased. It is the only hands free pumping and nursing bra that I have found that doesn’t give me back pain, and is comfortable to wear 24/7 and sleep in. I am a 36F and all others with the thin straps don’t have enough support, or the ones that do, suffocate my boobs. I can also use it with both my medela and elvies.

The Cake pumping bra really works for me. I’m not busty (36C) so it was comfortable to sleep in and then pump throughout the night. (I used the chart and ordered to size).
Nursing in this bra is a little cumbersome – I choose to pull that side of the bra “up” like it’s coming off rather than pull my boob “out” because there is a lot of fabric to contend with. (But as a pumping bra it’s very comfortable!)
Appeal – 5 stars
Comfort – 5 stars
Fit – 5 stars
Pumping functionality – 5 stars
Nursing functionality – 2 star
Price – 2 stars

Works AMAZING!! My favorite bra for pumping. I did find the price to be a little high for a sports bra material, but it is by far my favorite pumping bra. Holds flanges in place perfectly so you can do other tasks while pumping.
Jennifer McCuaig –
Size chart definitely not accurate. Holes for pump too low- no where near my nipples.
Too bad as it’s super cute.
Cara Matricardi –
The material is to stretch and not supportive. It doesn’t hold the pump in place and it leaks often. What a waste of money.

I pump exclusively and work from home, so comfort is everything. I’m also a bigger girl, and finding a pumping bra that I can wear 24/7 and is a sports bra style has been impossible to find. I thought I had found it in this, but after my first wash and wear, its just not up to the challenge. I wanted to love this bra so much, especially for the price, but it has one major flaw. The band of elastic that runs along the top under my armpit is just too loose and constantly falls down. I’m constantly having to pull it up and readjusted everything. If it weren’t for this I would give it 5 stars and buy 5 more, but I just can’t justify it. Pumping and cup wise this is the most comfortable one I’ve tried, but the loose band is a deal breaker.

It’s a very comfortable bra and holds your breast pump tight where it’s supposed to go. Very stretchy material, not much support. Cheaply made for the price you pay.
Sandra Luther –
Wonderful pumping bra. Very comfortable. Soft and supportive fabric. Pretty design too!
