One of the best-sounding earbuds to date. A hybrid design, with a dynamic driver, plus a balanced armature. Many including myself were not happy with the fit. The problem is, is that the canal is way too short for a secure and sealed insertion. I fixed that by using XL silicone tips, plus a double flange silicone tip, on the left side which was more challenging to fit. But I managed to do so. There are so many brand tips out there, that you might have to invest in a few different sizes to get the fit you want. Personally, I think it’s worth it, cause of the current price of 150$, down a 100$. Patience is a virtue.
UPDATE: 11/14/2022 Well, it’s only fair to admit that. As much as I like these buds, I think I’m going to return them. Because they are just too large, and short, in order to make a good secure insertion, they jut don’t work for (my experience now) me. A disappointment, no less. Now the left side bud, is acting up and not working according to what’s expected. The button is activating itself arbitrarily, all on its own. Now both earpieces are acting up. If it continues, as it just did. I shall return them. I’m effing annoyed at this point, cause I’ve tested numerous buds, simply trying to find something I’d be happy with. And it’s been one long journey, a drawn-out quest to find something worthy of keeping. I’m going back to the Beats Studios. Which sound excellent, in my opinion. But. And this is a big but. The battery life isn’t the best. But I’m gonna keep them, I think. We’ll see. Oh, and yeah. The (yep, three attempts was made to, to determine whether I’d keep the T1’s, sadly to no avail) third t1 made me reverse my saying they sounded good. Because man, they sounded awful. The treble was super bloated, and unbalanced. To the point where I couldn’t keep them in my ears for longer than a few seconds. Whoever tuned these should be fired. That’s if they were tuned. They make tuning out to be a big deal, as if only certain people can do it. Which doesn’t hold water. Because so many of these earbuds sound bad, really bad. One more thing. This was my experience with these buds. Not yours, but mine. It might be different for (you may have positives results) you, which I hope. But for me, it was a bust.

Ive bought a lot of headphones and true wireless headphones in the past (over 30 pairs of wireless) and while i dont have that many set of ears, my two ears are appreciating the money im spending…
which brings to these, the most affordable PREMIUM tws that ive owned, beats out the B&W PL7 in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling
the Fidelio T1s are great in battery life and has multipoint too which helps me to connect to laptop and phone at the same time and prioritizes the phone call first, which is incredibly convenient
sound is amazing, although it takes some trial and error to get a good fit with the tips first, which took me about 2 days in total (about 8 hours of total usage)
after finding the right tips and getting a good seal, everything becomes fairly transparent, direct yet not too direct, clarity is incredible and ANC does not overwhelm or suck the life out of the music at all
ANC is powerful, probably one of the best that Philips has done
I’d say it is tying with the WF-1000XM4 now
There are two downsides to this:
1. is its bulk, but after finding the right tip, it wasnt all that noticeable
2. the app lacks custom equalizer but im sure it is something they will update in the near future. the presets have worked well for me though and i still find the default being the best in terms of quality of sound reproduction when listening to acoustic guitar and jazz vocals

I’ve had this product a few months now and after being introduced to Philips with some cheap wired headphones during the pandemic I opted to step outside my comfort zone and buy a pair of high end earbuds from Philips. I was not disappointed, these buds act like a pair of over ear cans with their noise isolation, they Offer top of the line Active Noise Cancellation for in ear buds, and the sound that sweet sweet sound reproduction is on par with some of the best in the business.
These buds lasted on a 9 hour flight with ANC on from the US to Germany no issues streaming music and video the full time. They are much quieter than the competitions 3rd and 4th generation headphones but struggle when compared to the latest and greatest 5th generation models.
Now they are BIG!!! and as I always tell people ears are like fingerprints everyone has them but they are all different. The included tips did take me a few tweaks to get the buds to fit securely and until I did I did have them fall out of my ears like other reviews, but come on people invest in the product and find the right fit for when you do these buds are amazing!
Finally the case is large but that size although limiting in putting them in your pocket does provide fast charging and extend battery life you just don’t see in the space.
Fit and finish on these headphones really shows off that Philips went all in on Premium which is why I guess they labeled them Fidelio, but the materials, polish and finish is superior to other products in the space. You won’t find a corner cut to save a few penny’s like some other volume Manufacturers in Japan.
Give these buds a try and get the fit right and you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommend!!!

The headphones are on the larger side compared to some other truly wireless earbuds but these are light, comfortable, and sound excellent.
I have tested soundcore liberty pro 3, Sony w—1000xm4, Sennheiser Momentum truly wireless 3, Jabra elite 7 pro, OG AirPod Pro. These are most comparable to the Sennheiser and that is to say the sound stage and clarity is top notch, while being almost $100 less.
The app works well and connects reliably on my iPhone as well.
