I am extremely pale with darker hair and eyes, and my skin isn’t the gorgeous pale – it’s the kind of patchy pale that leaves people asking if I’m sick.
For years I have been using Jergens self-tanner, and I love it! It helps me look like I have color. I was wanting to try a darker product so I could look like I actually have a tan. I thought b. tan would give me the more dramatic effect I was looking for as I had seen the amazing reviews and had a friend recommend the product.
Sadly, b. tan gave far less color than jergens!
The first attempt I only left it on for 2 hours. When I saw no results, I blamed myself and decided to keep the product on longer the next day. The next day, I kept it on for 6 hours and noticed a tiny difference.
All in all, I put it on 2 days in a row, and I still am not as dark as I am when I use Jergens that I get from Target.
The product I have says “darkest” – not nearly.

I have used many different self tanning products and this line is my favorite. This is my first time using this specific product though. During application I noticed the mousse was a green color l. That caught me off guard bc I have always thought that self tanning products turn green once they have expired. I didn’t have very high hopes based on the green tint of my skin but luckily once I rinsed it off the green went down the drain and I was left with a natural looking “dark” tan. I still believe the bottle I got has to be on the older side and it probably won’t last much longer but the effect of the product was just what I wanted so I can’t really complain.

This is the second variety of b.tan I’ve tried, and I liked both of them. I ordered this mostly because it was on sale. Initially I was worried because the foam comes out GREEN, but once I rubbed it in you couldn’t tell, and after waiting a few hours and rinsing, the color was great.

I bought this on a whim because it was on sale. I normally use an expensive tanner that I love love love but I think this just replaced it! The color is fabulous, lasts a good week with gradual fading, color guide is great, normal smell as with all tanners, transfer isn’t bad. It’s all in all a great tanner! Highly recommend! I will even double apply it if I want extra color or to look a little darker. Lol I live in swfl and never go into the sun and this helps me blend in with everyone so I don’t look so pasty white!
