Took a flyer on dermablend cover product as a gift for a friend embarrassed by her ugly leg scar. She is thrilled, wearing shorts for first time in decades and thanks me at least weekly. Easy to use, covers well and all day and doesn’t come off and leave stains on sheets etc. Really works

This stuff is magic. It works. It is the perfect consistency. It can be worn for days even with sleeves and pants and it stays in place. It isn’ t oily or powdery and was a good value bc it is a huge tube. As a previous reviewer said it works pretty well for dark circles under eyes. It is not clumpy or oily. I can’t attest to water resistance bc I haven’t worn it in the pool but it is nice to know it is also a sunscreen. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it . Dermablend is an old company and their products work as they always have

Make sure you google swatches for this because finding the right match can be challenging! And don’t make the mistake I did and order two to see which is the best match—because Amazon will not let you return. Test in a store if possible! The product is wonderful and hides scars and strawberry legs really well! Not too thick, not at all greasy. The scent is very light and not unpleasant.

I was hesitant to spend $40 for foundation. But when I received the tube, it was huge, like the size of a tube of toothpaste. I was looking to replace my old smart cover foundation that had dried up. I will say this works pretty well. The color was a bit more orange than I had hoped for, so I will try another color. The consistency was thinner than I prefer. I have some large freckle clusters on my face that are dark, and this makeup faded them but did not cover them completely. I could still see them through the makeup. If the consistency were thicker, it would be easier to cover dark spots. I used multiple layers, and I could still see them. The large tube would be good for leg coverage, but I have doubts that this would completely cover a dark tattoo. I’m going to keep using this in combination with the concealer and see if that works better. It’s fairly waterproof and requires more than water to remove, so that is good. I would not purchase this again, as I need something thicker with more coverage.

SO. I have this tattoo on my chest, and it’s kinda big( shown in pic) I have weddings to go to this summer and my family at the weddings are pretty conservative, and I don’t wanna come off as ‘scandalous’ to the bride and the groom since yknow it’s their big day.
Now I could get a high neck dress to cover it, but after much online shopping I’ve realized that for some reason CUTE, high neck dresses are really hard to come by and for some reason are more expensive.
SO I bought a bunch of makeup to try to cover up the tattoo. I got a primer to make the makeup application process easier, an orange color corrector to even out of the blueish black color of the tat, this dermablend foundation and a dermablend translucent setting powder. Here is what I discovered with using it:
The color matched well, but I had to apply the foundation about ten times for the tattoo to be fully covered, using setting powder after each layer.
Because of so many layers being applied, the makeup started to separate which looked really weird, kind of like eraser shavings off a pencil rubber? Looks better in photos but in real life it doesn’t look that great( shown in pic)
AND even after a lot of setting powder and setting spray it very much got on my clothes.
OVERALL I think this stuff would work well for smaller tats and ones that might not get on clothing. however for myself, the process for this took forever and the results didn’t seem worth it. Guess I’ll have to get a dress.

I’ve used Demablend for years to cover age spots. I always liked the coverage but didn’t like how it transferred on to my clothes and sheets. I just bought it in Golden Tan for an upcoming cruise and I’m happy to say it doesn’t transfer at all! I slept with it on – no brown streaks on my sheets. I wore a white top – no ugly make up marks! I bought this in golden bronze not just to cover freckles, scars, and sun damage. I bought it to replace my self tanner products which seemed to fade too fast and look orange. I squeezed a small amount onto my palm along with a good body moisturizer, rubbed them together, and began covering my arms, legs, décolletage, and shoulders. The coverage was amazing and that small amount resulted in covering a good sized area. It has now been a week since I applied it and — no fading! I am gleeful over what looks like a gorgeous tan. I finally found my product!
It does transfer to surfaces and clothing if you don’t give it ample time to dry. After it dries, shower without soaping up any areas it has covered. But I shower nearly ever day and it still looks great.

Well, I read a ton of reviews for this product before purchasing it, and the comments ranged from love it to hate it. But here is my story – first, I am 58, and while I had great looking legs in my early years, I developed a skin condition (I can’t spell it and won’t even try) which has left my legs spotted and blotchy. I am also fair skinned, and still get a spray tan in the summer to give me some color. However, that only makes the spots on my legs darker and more noticeable. It’s really ugly and I hate it, so I avoid shorts. But in the hot 100 degree Southern heat, those are hard to avoid. SO I figured I should at least try this product. I did not have high hopes. Long story short – yes, this is a make-up coverage, it does not claim to be a sun tan product. If you apply it lightly, as it recommends, it has definitely helped the appearance of my legs to the point I have started wearing dresses and shorts, which is wonderful! It does not cover all my spots, but I did not expect it to, as I have so many and they are prominent. But it covers the spots enough that I am comfortable showing my legs. Yes, the make up will and can come off if you don’t allow it to dry, which can take a couple of hours. And yes, it will come off on your clothes to some degree, just like normal make up will do – but no big deal, it washes off. But it’s not a big problem. Small price to pay for being able to wear shorts again. I find the make up lasts a good two days for me, even with a shower or two. I don’t scrub my legs in the shower, so it stays on. But after that, it will wear off, just like make up. I do recommend this product, and hope anyone interested will at least try it. It has really made me happy that I can show my legs again.
