I really like Laura Geller cosmetics. She really excels in colors. I bought this palette for my blue-green, soon to be 64 year old eyes.
I have oily eyelids (and face), so keeping any makeup from melting away is a challenge. It’s doubly so for my eyelids. I use Thank Me Later primer for my face as well as their eyelid primer.
The colors are absolutely beautiful. The “shimmer” isn’t overdone. Usually I try to stick with matte finish everything, but I don’t hesitate to wear this eyeshadow. It’s not too shiney. It goes on silky, is easy to blend, and wears at least 24 hours (I forgot to remove it one night).
It doesn’t settle into creases. Sorry for the poor lighting in the photo. I’ll retake a photo in natural light.

The colors are great and they go on well, but the color disks are loose in the case so they fall out when you open the case. I’ve lost two colors so far. They fell on the floor and broke, had to toss them out.

Love the colors and coverage! Great product that works well with my over 50 skin! I typically use Lancôme but this is less expensive and looks much better! Highly recommend!

So far I’m loving this product. Nice selection of eyeshadows, easy to apply wears nice

Well… first of all the product arrived broken, which I know happens but is still a downer. The palette is also in a pretty cardboard housing, not a sturdy click-closed plastic. So it’s not going to be portable and will need to use more caution to avoid getting it wet from splashback of the sink etc.
So minus1 star from the get-go.
I have seen so many ads and reviews that rave about LG makeup! I treated myself over the holidays to two eyeshadow palettes, this pink prosecco one and one called floral. I was really looking forward to products that are supposedly made for aging women’s skin.
I am so disappointed! First, almost every pan is a metallic frosted, which tends to exaggerate wrinkles and saggy eyelids! I have a lot of makeup that I tried and didn’t like very much or felt a little cheated by the cost vs the results, but this has to hands-down the worst ever. It feels heavy on the skin, it didn’t blend well, and most of the light to medium shades didn’t show well on my “light” skin (neutral undertones,blueish-gray eyes).
The darker colors are too saturated and just look like red bruises, there was no neutral brown to use as a liner. That darkest red pan is useless to me, luckily that was the broken one huh. I was forced to use the midtone pink shades as the crease-shadow and lining colors with the lighter ones for overall lid coverage and highlighter shades to tone it down. In the end I felt like the eyeshadow was caked on and much too metallic for day wear, even with a dusting of mineral veil over it. Ok, that’s the skin feeling. How did it look? I checked in several light settings. I saw too much makeup, and it was not very flattering. It reminded me of the makeup ladies wore in the 1970s. I will continue to experiment on how to apply it without overload on the brush (I barely tapped my brush on the color, and I tapped the loaded brush on a clean ceramic plate to evenly distribute the color on the brush and not overload the bristles). It was still too much. Worse, the product does not blend or easily spread across the lid, it clung to the first point of contact, and blending it out was a major chore. And yes, I had done all my prep work ahead of application, with a quality eyelid primer. I tried using a clean kabuki brush to blend out or lift some of the color, but wasn’t very successful, and had to apply lighter colors over the darker to neutralize. I ended up having to apply mineral veil over it to make it look less garish. It looked and felt like stage makeup, something overly dramatic for my preferences. Why so many metallic shimmer shades? Mature skin does not look great with that.
I will very likely return to my tried and true formula of applying a drugstore creme makeup (Revlon!) as a base, and dusting clinique or bare minerals shadows for more dramatic effects.
I found nothing in the Laura Gellar products that felt or looked as-good or better than what I’ve been using, so I’m really puzzled about all the hype for this makeup line. What’s the deal? Are all the reviews and the testimonials really honest? I was so looking forward to trying this and feel I wasted a hundred dollars! Once again fooled by marketing! I watched Laura Gellar herself apply the makeup in her videos, and her commentary simply does not match the actual experience. It’s not easy to apply, it doesn’t feel silky or smooth, and it is not easy to blend. Moreover, this set appears more suitable for a darker skinned person than myself, so it’s not universally flattering. Most palette collections are flattering to all skin tones. This pink prosecco is definitely not.

A product well worth the money! Beautiful colours and great variety. Stays in place all day. Will definitely buy again

So I love the colors, but I’m 63 and sometimes if it’s too shiny it just doesn’t sit right but these are the perfect Shimmer but I’m going to probably get the matte color set next because they are beautiful on they stay all day. And of course being aged 63 I love to stay younger looking as much as I can so when I put my makeup on my face people don’t believe that I’m 63

I love Laura Geller ! Her pallets are magnificent. I am 54 years old. I’ve tried everything there is out there and her products are the only ones that stay on my face all day beautifully !!! Sweat water rain doesn’t matter. It’s on your face the way you put it before you take it off at night. Love you, Laura Geller. Thank you for your amazing products!
KennesawSnoopy –
Good pigmented eyeshadow with the placement set out for beginners, a good range of matte and shimmers with never ending looks. Great for mature skin and a bargain compared with the RRP, would recommend this product and seller
Denise P. –
I used to apply Laura Geller daily. I purchased this collection due to the reasonable price and I wasn’t disappointed! Beautiful metallic shades, many nudes and suble pinks that are ideal for daytime wear.

Love this palette. The pigment is good and you can create some lovely soft neutrals of varying intensities for different occasions.
Fairly priced for what you get. I wasn’t expecting a cardboard container, but I guess it’s more environmentally friendly so all good.
Chelley Dee –
I cannot recommend this highly enough. Incredible pallet. Such beautiful colours. They blend sublimely, the colour buidable, with super great lasting power. Nice mixture of cool and
warm shades but even the warm aren’t too orangey like some brands. The shimmer toppers really elevate the whole pallet. That you can use each layer for a different part of the eye makes it so user friendly. Love love love.
Kristie –
Absolutely loved the colors, the way the shadow went on and how well.it lasted. However by day 3 5 of the domes of shadow had fallen out of the palette having come detached from the case they were adhered to…thus cracking into a million pieces.
