I already have an ultrasonic contact lens cleaner and love it. This works identically.
Basically, every night you take out your lenses and put them straight into the container with saline. Put them in the cleaner and let it run for 5 minutes. I wear monthly lenses and when I manually clean my lenses, by week 3 they feel old and I can’t wait to switch them. Using an ultrasonic cleaner means that at day 60 (yes, I now get 2 months out of a pair), they feel just as good as day 1.
These are a must-have for any contact-lens wearer.
So why not 5*?
2 reasons:
1. On-Off button and not a timer. When you have a timer, you turn the device on and tuck it into a drawer for the night. With a button, you need to be aware of 5 minutes to ensure a proper cleaning. This isn’t a make or break deal, but it’s an inconvenience.
2. The tools. The less you handle your lenses the better. I use the tools every day. The tweezers to extract the lenses from the solution and the golf t thingy to pop them into my eyes. They come in a nice little case, but neither the case nor the tools fit into the device. Other units I’ve had are just as small and have a little space for the tools to rest. Now they’re easily misplaced because they don’t go with the cleaning device.
Overall, I think everyone who wears contacts should have one of these. I don’t think it’s bad at all. If you’re looking at this, I’d say go for it, but be aware there are some more thoughtful designs out there.

I am really surprised at how nice this little contact lens cleaning machine is. It kind of looks cheesy, but it actually works really well. I find that it works the best if you only put a little of the solution in with each lens at first and then run the machine for about a minute. Then empty and fill with new solution and run it again for a couple minutes. It’s the best contact lens cleaning system that I have ever tried so far and it was nice that it came with extras like a couple lens cases, plastic tweezers, and a lens removal tool. If you are someone who is using the manual contact lens washer where you have to twist it, then I recommend you get this machine. It’s a great upgrade from the manual one. You won’t be disappointed.

This little device actually works perfectly, so fast and simple. I notice that some reviewers aren’t too keen regarding the noise. I don’t think it’s that bad, and in fact it helps to remind me not to wander off whilst in the middle of the cleaning process. So, a minor point perhaps, but for some the noise might be annoying. Frankly, I don’t see how.
Another “issue” that is remarked upon is the lack of a timer. I will be the first to admit that would be nice, and the world of electronics is such that it would be easy to incorporate one. That would very likely make this bulkier and more costly, so I for one am happy to use my phone and time it. Everyone, I mean everyone, has a phone, so using the stopwatch feature isn’t a big deal. And if you don’t have a phone, I salute you, and will suggest an hourglass!
This thing is so compact, and so efficient, I’m as satisfied as can be, and it didn’t cost an arm and leg.

This contact lens cleaner machine is quite a hassle to use. You need to manually push a button to start the cleaning process and remember to turn it off after a few minutes, then remove the contact lens case. It would be much more convenient if it had a built-in timer to avoid the risk of forgetting to turn it off. Overall, the manual operation makes it less user-friendly than I’d hoped.

I have never had one of these before, and from other reviews, I am hoping to get longer use from my lens. The mirror in the compact is a good size and super clear! I love that the kit comes with so many cases. The sound is a little loud but dims a little if you close the lid. It would be nice if there was an automatic shutoff after however many minutes but no biggie.

Review for “Contact Lens Cleaner Machine Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner Portable Auto Contact Lens Cleaning Machine with Big Mirror for Daily Care Fit Soft Lens Hard Lens Colored Lens RGP Lens OK Lens (Green)”
Color: Green
Does this work? Yes. Is it tiny and super portable? Yes. Can you turn this on, walk away, and come back to finished clean contacts? No! This item is great, but you have to turn it on, time the process, and manually turn it off at the end. A built in timer with auto shut off would make this so much better. Otherwise this works fine. Oh. tThe ability to recharge this via USB instead of a batter would take this over the top. This are my thoughts.

I received “Contact Lens Cleaner Machine Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner Portable Auto Contact Lens Cleaning Machine with Big Mirror for Daily Care Fit Soft Lens Hard Lens Colored Lens RGP Lens OK Lens (Green).” The set comes with the cleaning case, three contact lens holders, a battery, a pair of tweezers, a contact tool, and instructions. The tweezers and tool come in a cute little case. The contact lens cases are smaller than normal. The case latches securely, so it takes a little effort to open. I really like the happy green smile on top. The contact lens cases snap firmly into the contact lens cleaner. The mirror has a film over it that needs to be removed. Once removed, the mirror is quite nice. The contact lens cleaner has rubbery feet on the bottom to hold it securely to a surface. The battery compartment is on the bottom, and the lid needs to be pried open. The tweezers are rubberized, so they can’t be used to open the compartment. I used the tip of a metal nail. Once open, it was easy to insert the battery and re-close the lid of the compartment. The lid of the contact cleaner stays open without having to hold it, but the lid can’t be adjusted to any other angle than fully open. The on button is on the inside of the case, so the vibration starts before closing the lid. The motor is very loud. Of course, you have to open it again to push the button a second time to turn off the motor.
