This book is Amazing! Detail information. The way we all seen how hospitals were during covid, as we couldn’t even get in to be seen Doctors. This book teaches you how to take care of you your family if crisis hit and no Doctor. Home remedies. Things you have on hand. Overall, I think that this book follows through being a survival guide. It is informative and gives lots of sound advice. Though some advice is a little out there, most of it follows treatments of modern medicine. My favorite part of the book would be stockpiling medications. The authors state, “the inability to store antibiotic supplies is going to cost some poorly prepared individuals their lives in a collapse situation.” (Alton 2015, pg 267) One of the biggest medical supplies that often go unnoticed is antibiotics. So many people died from infections before penicillin was invented. If the need to survive in dangerous circumstances, the infection rate will increase exponentially and with limited available antibiotics many people will die. However, the reason it is my favorite part is to get past needing a prescription to buy antibiotics the authors use animal antibiotics. It seems absurd and I will never try it but if the ingredients only have antibiotics, then it should be safe for human use. I find it interesting the lengths some people will go to be prepared for anything. My least favorite part about this book would be that there were not as many natural remedies as I was led to believe. In the description of the book, it specifically mentions natural remedies. I understand that natural remedies are not a cure-all and modern medicine is the go-to. But the authors assume that the reader is a serious prepper and has a mirage of medications that the average person just will not have. Also, the quality of the descriptions varies. Some descriptions are very detailed and have images to better show the process such as how to correctly transport an injured person. Others, however, have a basic description with little to no images such as amputation. Figuring out how to treat issues with basic information can cause many issues. In the case of amputation, if it were not going to be explained in full detail, it would have been better to leave it out.

Boken är skriven av de två mest kända personerna i USA när det gäller kris och beredskaps och överlevnads medicin Joseph Alton MD och Amy Alton ANRP sjuksköterska. Boken är mycket bra den innehåller mycket information som är verkligen användbar och allt är förklarat klart och tydligt på ett enkelt sätt och allt är uppdelat i olika kapitel hur man gör med svårare skador det tar upp också mediciner och vad man kan ersätta dom med plus en massa annat. Det är den absolut bästa boken i ämnet så jag rekommenderar att köpa den och ha den i bokhyllan man kan också ha den som ett uppslagsverk eller läsa den rätt igenom .
Men jag kan inte se något minus vad gäller den här boken så där har jag dock inget att komma med.
