TIDI AquaGuard Sheet – 10” x 12” – Shower Protection Sheet – Self-Adhesive Moisture Barrier – Made Without Latex Was the perfect product for me. I had back surgery and could not get my incision wet. This sheet kept the incision and my bandage dry while I showered. It stayed in place most of the time, until we removed it. There are 7 sheets, enough for seven showers. It is latex free.

Works OK but the adhesive is too weak. I would have given it a 5 star if nit for the adhesive.
Tip: Applies well when the area is oil lotion free and when your area is most flat when applying.

My wife used these to cover a bandage from where she had surgery, and these did not work very well for keeping the water out during her shower. She tried a few times but was never very successful in getting them applied to keep her bandage dry. It may be due to the length of the bandage, or that they didn’t adhere as good as they need to.

Bought these for my father n law’s port instead of tegaderm bc the center isn’t sticky and wouldn’t stick to the port tubes. They don’t stay stuck. He doesn’t have hair on his chest either. So I would imagine anyone with a hairy chest would have even more of an issue. And they are expensive for daily use. He does sit in a shower chair with a spray hose so he wasn’t even under direct spray of the water. With in a minute it was coming off and he hadn’t even used any soap yet. Really disappointed for the price. It’s like the cheap plastic bandaids that never stick for more than 5 minutes. I will have to use real tegaderm around the edge of it for this to work successfully. Which I could have done with tegaderm and seranwrap.

I have had a large abdominal wound for 3 months and this brand is my favorite to use for shower guard. I like that it uses an island dressing approach. I do still tape it on the perimeter, given the location of my wound it’s impossible to get a good seal with any brand but this brand has been the best. Easy to remove and doesn’t tear my skin apart. Comes in different sizes which has been great. When you’re already stressed the last thing you want to do is waste more money and time trying to find a new product that works for you. I won’t be sad when I can finally stop buying these but I am greatful this company has this product!
