The board itself seems okay but I am against false advertising. They put on the website clearly that it comes with the kayak paddle, however be warned they don’t send it with one. When I received the package it came with an itinery of what should be included and that itinerary contradicts the advertised one and doesn’t include a kayak paddle. It has been an absolute pain emailing back and fourth to try and get the paddle. Apparently it’s now being sent out to me. Who knows if it is or not.
If you’re buying this as the kayak paddle makes it seem different from the rest don’t bother.

If you are looking for a paddle board on Amazon this is the one to get. Amazing value for the price, high quality and an American brand so not dealing with companies based out of China like a majority of paddle boards on Amazon. I didn’t want to spend 1,000 dollars on a paddle board when it would get maybe a few uses during the summer but I imagine this paddle board could last a long amount of time, and hold up to frequent use. Don’t waste your money on any of the other options on Amazon, this is the one you want.

I wanted to wait until I had a chance to use this SUP before reviewing. I’ve taken this beauty out twice now. It’s maiden voyage was on a very slow current river. It was so much fun. I didn’t stand the first time as I was alone and it was early in the season and wasn’t ready to fall in the cold water. The 2nd time was out on a lake just a couple weeks ago when camping and I absolutely love this board. It is so much fun, I stood up immediately and really felt stable even when winds and some wake came our way. I did some research before buying my board, and tried to get something for my small size 5’1. This was a tad bigger than I hoped but it was right in my price range for beginner. Have to say this is a great first board if you’re just starting out! We had two boards in our group for camping at the lake, family tried the other first couldn’t get comfortable with balance and standing. My MIL and hubby both fell off that one. Decided to give mine a shot the next day and everyone that tried could stand up on my board. Even my kids age 14 & 12 stood and paddled (with me in arms length of course) tried out the kayak seat with my 12 yo sitting in front of me and that worked really well as well. We all had a great time. Next time I’m going to take my dog out with me!! I love everything about this board. I thought pumping was going to be a challenge, blits a bit of a small workout, each time it gets easier and it actually pretty quick to inflate and deflate.
Putting everything in the bag can be a challenge but it all fits if you like Tetris.

We bought 2 of the ROC SUPs and couldn’t be more pleased and impressed. They are very well constructed, look and handle great, and come with many accessories, including a backpack, pump, dry pack, adjustable paddle (incl both straight and kayak), leash and detachable main fin. They are quite stable on the water and the paddle length is easy to adjust when moving from knees to standing. I love how everything fits into the backpack, making them easy to transport in a car. The bungies across the front have been quite handy for sandals, water, PFD, etc.
Getting everything into the backpack can be tricky but it does all fit. The backpack is of much higher quality and comfort than I expected at this price point. My only suggestion is that the backpack should be about 1 inch longer as it seems to be the exact same length as the widest point of the board. No matter how you roll or fold the deflated board, it is a super tight squeeze getting in into the back without feeling like the bag is being stressed at the ends. I’ve done it 4 times and it never gets any easier.
The only minor issue I’ve had with one of the boards is that a small section of the neoprene in the back corner is not attached to the board. I’m guessing it’s nothing that a simple glue repair can’t fix but it hasn’t hindered use or performance in any way.
Pumping up the board with the included pump is quite a workout in itself! After a couple of times pumping by hand, I bought an electric pump. I would highly recommend this, especially if you have more than one board to pump up. Unfortunately the one I chose (AILCION) started smoking and died after 3 minutes so I’m back to pumping by hand until I decide on another brand.
Overall, we love the SUPs and are happy we chose these from ROC!

It is a good board & lightweight. Easy to pump (about 20 mins) with the hand pump included though the last few mins was a torture but it is a good pre-workout. As a beginner, I managed to strike a better balance on the pad. The paddle is quite good as well. The only downside is the bag has no compartment but spacious space to throw in everything from the board till my water bottle, etc. Hope it can serve me well for years.
