Bed rail cannot be secured tightly against the bed. Our 22 month old granddaughter fell between the mattress and rail the first time we used it and the second time the rail fell onto the floor despite the “safety” strap under the mattress. I’d return in a heartbeat but window was closed as she only visits once a month. Her getting trapped is more of a huge safety factor more than her falling out of bed.

Super easy to put together. Only had a rough time securing it to the crib. The online video is not much help because it’s no one talking. It’s just musical over written instructions 😂

We got this for my son’s loft bed. The loft bed is very high and requires a very thin mattress. We didn’t want to buy a new mattress because the one he has is very comfortable and expensive, we opted to install a higher bed rail. This is a very big and adjustable bed railing with two ways to adhere to the bed (either screw into wooden bed slats or use strap across bedframe). You can see how tall it is compared to the toddler railing we had in my photos. The height is adjustable and the railing folds down. I will admit the folding down mechanism is a little difficult if you’re a smaller person like me (5’1) as its pretty long and your arm span might just barely make it, but for “normal” sized humans 😂 like my husband, it should be fine.
Assembly was fine and only took a few minutes as there are no tools required, just follow the instructions from 1-8 and don’t let the first panel confuse you.
The price was almost half the price compared to other bed railings of the same quality and it shipped in a day, so I have to say, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Unit is sturdy especially when the belt included allows you to secure the rail. It is high enough to keep the toddler from falling

It was the right size for my bed. It was easy to put together. And it seems very sturdy and the directions were easy to follow.

It doesn’t sit tight enough to mattress ***if you don’t adjust the height so that the B-Bar sits even with the top of the mattress***, even after using the strap and screws to secure. The mattress shifts away from it just from getting on and off the bed and my acrobatic toddler ended up getting stuck between the rail and mattress. (No worries, I saw the whole thing happening and was able to get him right out). ***Adjusting the height up so the bottom bar sits even with the top of the mattress provides the rigidity needed to prevent the child getting stuck between.*** Other than that, I liked that the height is adjustable, and it folds down relatively nicely. Also keeps my kid from falling off the bed! ***Thank you to the proactive responsiveness of the seller to make sure it was installed correctly!
