Terrible product. It breaks apart in shards when chewed. Sharp like plastic shards ! Made my dogs gums bleed and it can’t be good for their insides. Needless to say I took it away and won’t be giving these to her. Super disappointed

I have 2 small dogs and a grandpuppy. This treat is a favorite, & lasts far longer than the 1 bite type. My grandpup, a Pomeranian, is a liitle piglet and usually “inhales” just about any other treat. Truly, she doesn’t even bother to chew treats, she just gulps them down like inhaling air. But, by design, she is forced to spend time chewing these sticks, & does not immediately return for more. She knows grandma has treats in her bag and, every time I visit, she goes to my bag, sits up on her hind legs and repeatedly gestures please please for treats. And, all 3 dogs love the chicken and peanut butter flavors. My Pomgie especially loves these larger chew treats, a longer lasting alternative to his favorite Twist sticks, which both occupy his attention and satisfy his “treat tooth.” Moreover, I can trust in the quality of Smart Bones treats.

I have a 5 year old Husky/German Shepherd mix that loves treats. She isn’t super picky about what she gets, but she has some of her favorites. I’ve been trying to find her a good alternative to the ones I get her in store because of price, so I thought I’d give them a try.
The good:
She loves these treats! When she hears the package, she comes running! They do not have much of a smell, so I don’t mind her chewing on them when she’s on the couch. Price point is great as well. If you were to purchase something like this in the store, you’d be paying more. I was pricing others, and I was not able to find no rawhide treats like this in the price point (around $5 usd at the time).
The not so good:
If you have a big dog, these will disappear quick. She’s about 45 lbs, and she can knock one out in a few minutes. I give her one a day before I leave for work and supplement this with a greenie at night, and packaged bones for longevity. If you want something that lasts, you may not like these for bigger breeds.
Overall, I am happy with these treats, and I know my doggo is. I’ll be buying more, hopefully before they go up in price.
