Received cage 1 day early. Nothing was loose or moving around in the package when I received it. It came in a relatively small package and once opened the cage inside had plastic zip ties holding several parts of the cage together and some thin bubble wrap separating some of the pieces. I had it together in about 15 minutes. There are NO assembly directions other than a piece of paper with some pictures of the cage on it. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and an 8mm wrench. There are 2 sizes of screws (small and large). The smaller screws are for the cage. The larger screws are for the base. DO NOT tighten screws until all pieces are assembled. There are 2 bars that support the plastic drip tray. The bars attach to the base with 2 smaller screws. The casters were very easy to put on and the whole cage slides around on them like an egg on a well oiled pan. The cage had no bent bars, no missing bars,no loose bars and it fit together perfectly. No wobbles, no gaps. The only flaw I could see would be the 4 smaller feeder doors which did feel weak-I think anything bigger than a parakeet would be able to move them up and escape. I don’t plan to use them so I will zip tie them shut. The main door is nice,sturdy and swings open all the way. The lock is a little strange-again, good for small birds but I think a parrot would be able to figure out how to open the door in a short time. I shopped my local pet stores for a large bird cage and saw some that were selling for $150-$200 and they looked and felt flimsier than this one and were in fact even smaller. This is a great cage. Great value for the money. You and your birds will be pleasantly surprised.

I am very pleased with this cage! It was a definite upgrade in size for my bird, so I think she’s extremely happy in her new home!
Once we had it put together its a great sturdy cage on wheels. I do wish the wheels had a brake or lock to keep it from rolling too much, but thats ok.
It comes with 2 long perches that go all the way across, but I ordered more natural perches that vary in size and shape.
The large access door is very handy, but my toddler figured out how to open it within a few minutes, so I may have to find something to secure it so she doesn’t harass the bird too much.
The food cups sit behind the little doors, which I think will deter my bird from messing with the doors and slamming them like she used to.
She’s a bit skittish, so to get our bird successfully transferred we set the assembled empty cage right next to the old one for about a day. While we slowly started moving her favorite things into it, we set a new toy and snack on top of the new cage, and gave her time to get curious enough to climb on top to check it out. We made sure she had her favorite nesting spot (a hollow coconut) to feel safe in, and then officially transferred her. It wasn’t long at all before she was happily exploring and playing!
Assembly was not super hard, but also a pain. It was simple enough because it was just a handful of screws and nuts, and it even comes with a handy little screwdriver.
Some of the instructions were straightforward, but we ran into a wall of confusion, that derailed our work for quite some time, when we thought we were missing pieces! Turns out the instructions sheet was wrong! I’ll include photos in case you get the same set of instructions I did:
It says that there are 2 of Part #8, but there was only 1! Which makes sense because the stand that the cage sits on only had 1 shelf. Also when you look at Part #10, it may help to understand that the little loops are pointed in different directions. The top loops point straight up and they help secure the cage sitting on top of it. The bottom of this piece also has loops, but they are pointed sideways. The shelf piece sits on top of these.
In the instructions diagram #1, don’t forget the 2 small bars at the bottom (part #7), those hold up the tray!
On diagram #2, some of the pieces are drawn wrong so it’s confusing to look at. But I think if you go by the part numbers, you’ll get it right.

I can’t say much on how easy it is to clean yet, as we’re letting our birds get accustomed to its presence, and we’re saving up for some new toys and perches before we move them in. I will update this review once we’ve transfered them over.
So, the cage itself is fairly sturdy, though the plastic tray had a few cracks in it. Nothing a bit of electrical tape couldn’t fix! Still, I felt it was important to mention if that’s a concern for anyone.
The package came with a handy little screwdriver which was very useful, and the cage was fairly easy to assemble. The package was missing one nut, but until we can go out and buy a replacement, the cage is still very sturdy without it.
Overall, I’d say it’s a good cage for the price we got it for. As a pro-tip, I’d recommend any bird owners look into replacing the dowel perches and plastic dishes that came with the cage with natural wood perches (which are better for their feet and provide more chewing material), and stainless dishes (which are easier to clean and less likely to breed bacteria) – It’s nice that the cage came with some starter dishes/perches, though!

Nice enough cage for the price but arrived with 3 out of 4 plastic food dishes cracked and a few of the metal pieces bent.
I was able to bend the metal back but the cracks in the food dishes are disappointing. The bottom plastic tray was also a bit dented.
My birds seem happy.

I recently purchased this cage as a living room cage for my Indian Ringneck and Quaker parrot to hang out in the living room… they sleep in a cage by my bed stand at night so they spend about 10 hours in this cage. Instructions were a bit vague but, I managed to get the cage together. First problem I encountered were the doors… they were half hanging off and I needed to use a needle nose pliers to bend the corners to attach them to the cage… no big deal but still, it’s something that I didn’t expect. Secondly, the clear plastic bowls were cracked and chipped…that was disappointing as I didn’t have any bowls that fit in this cage doors. So I’ve ended up placing food bowls on the floor of the cage which end up having to be changed often due to birds poo falling in them-so I’ve written to the seller hoping they will send me a new set of bowls… the final problem is all the holes line up where the screws go into except the bottom left base leg! That sucks because the cage is wobbly now and rocks backward when I close the door ( it scares my Indian Ringneck).
Now for the good things:
The cage is pretty strong and the spacing is enough so that my birds cannot get their head stuck.
The bottom shelf is useful for storing their food.
It’s easy to clean and the cage looks nice in my living room.
It’s large and roomy for an Indian Ringneck and a Quaker to share. They both have plenty of space to fly, climb, and perch.
For the price- it’s a good buy
And the main door has kept my escape artist Quaker parrot inside! She hasn’t figured it out and can’t reach the latch. Give it time and I will probably have to put locks on the doors because she is smart.
