I knew going in that these would be small and that is fine for what I wanted them for. My experience with plastic is that it will fade and can be harder to clean as they age, but for now these are working great. I wanted one for feeding dried mealworms and it is perfect. The colander style keeps rain from pooling on the food. (Of course the bluebirds and mockingbirds haven’t let the stuff stay in it that long!) The smaller solid bottom one I have planned for a DYI hummingbird feeder (it will hold water to keep out ants while allowing me to hang the feeder for easier viewing. These are much better quality that what you’d find at a dollar store, but not nearly as expensive as you’d find at a garden center or big box store. Even if they lasted one season (which I’m sure I’ll get longer use) I’d be happy. The birds sure are!

I had another (vertical) feeder with six perches. The birds liked that but they wasted a lot of seed. I was feeding more ground rodents than birds. So I bought this one. The birds love it and it’s attracted more finches because most of their food doesn’t end up on the ground. The only thing that could be improved is the holes in the bottom of the feeder tray for the hanging wires are a little large and seed can fall through them. I taped the bottom so all the millet wouldn’t fall through. The birds were a little cautious about the bird bath at first but have warmed up to stopping by for a drink. I like both of these and would buy them again.

I wanted a light weight feeder and waterer to take with us in our RV. It’s perfect. Lightweight, nice sized. Not overly large or tiny. Comes in a sturdy box so that I can repack it when it’s time to go.

This is a great feeder especially for the price. Just make sure you have a squirrel baffle if you’re hanging it from a pole, and know that you’ll go through a lot of seed! Our mourning doves will just lay in the pan and eat! Definitely easy to fill, stable enough to hold the multitude of birds we get and they all have easy access. They also seem to enjoy the ease of access to the water pan. Pleased with this purchase.

I was watching birds having trouble eating out of it because they can’t land on it without it moving for them to be able to eat so it’s not a large enough and heavy enough item even though it portrays it to be able to do all that it’s not it is easy to install, but it’s not sturdy and I just threw it away

I have several feeders around and these are by far the cheapest but do the job and are pretty sturdy. Great value, easy to fill and clean.
