These were the best clippers to date that I have tried on my cat. They were so quiet and they worked so smoothly. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Our long hair, older cat was very matted… with the biggest mat covering over half her back and around her thighs, with matting occurring around her butt causing bathroom problems to say the least. These trimmers defied my expectations and easily (and cleanly) cut ALL mats off!! With patience, her favorite wet food, and her favorite place in the house she let me trim her whole body. The thicker mats I turned up the power but the noise didn’t make her nervous. The trimmers glide right through the mats with ease, just getting little by little, kinda “chipping away” at the mat start, and base of the skins. I would definitely recommend if you’re in a similar position!! Very little stress on the cat, easy to do, and most of all I didn’t have to bring her to a groomer. These trimmers did not nick or cut her once and went very smooth. Only downside is the battery life is short. But gives the trimmers time to cool down anyways. I can’t recommend enough!

I have used it twice now for my super long haired Nebelung. He started getting matts lately and they just got out of hand for his grooming. He’s feisty so its hard to groom him.
I have been using a matted hair comb and hair cutting scissors but, the comb pulls too much and the scissors are so sharp I worry I will nick him.
We got a $450 quote for a sedated medical grooming at the vet but we can’t afford that right now. So, we bought these clippers and I’m so happy we did!
It works really well! It’s not silent so he knows it’s coming but it’s not loud enough to initially scare him. I was able to shave his back and sides in 2 sessions.
I do small sections at a time where hebis matted so it doesn’t tug on him. The clippers can shave pretty much all the hair off so if I’m not using an attachment I keep the fine tuning blade as long as possible. I dont want to knick him The fine tuning for blade height us great. Being able to clean under water is awesome!
My husband holds the cat with leather gloves while I shave. That seems to be easiest.
But so far, so good!!

This was my first time clipping our cats, one of our cats was miserable from the humidity and heat, so I thought id take a chance on trimming his fur. He never even flinched, I think he thought I was brushing him. The sound wasn’t loud and as soon as I started to trim him he flopped over on his side, this was my first time trimming him, so I’m not very good at it yet, but I will give it a go again tomorrow, to get the bits of fur to look better. I just wanted to give him a break from it. He laid on the floor quite content after and seems to be fine with everything. Great for trimming bum fur on the kitties too…and that’s just what I did, nice and easy…cleaner for the cats too. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a Norwegian Forest cat. Anyone who knows cats knows that that breed has very silky fur. All of my other shavers would do the job but it was traumatic for the cat because they needed several passes. This one easily shaved her hair and removed the mats. Now that she is older she is not grooming herself as much and we noticed they were forming behind her little legs. We tried with the other clippers but her hair was just too silky and fine, but these just worked like they should!
I bought them on a whim after I discovered a large mat but I couldn’t get with the other shaver and I knew that she must be in some pain from it. I am so glad I did!
It made us brave enough to try the Lions cut on her. They worked great, easy to use! We were able to go fast enough that she was not too traumatized, but the only problem is now one of our cats does not recognize her for some reason! Lol
