Since it is cat food, I can’t verify the flavor. But the ingredients seem to be exceptional, and the cat really likes it!
Owen from CT –
Good product. A bit pricy but the quality and consistency is there. Our cat loves the chicken & herring flavor.
One time we got a letter from the company that the product batch we bought may have been contaminated. They asked us to ship back the batch we bought and they would send us replacements. We really appreciated the honesty. The company didn’t try to hide their mistakes. They did the right thing in informing us and trying to make it right.
One thing we don’t like is the sizing. Why make a 5.5oz can? It’s just not enough for two meals for an average cat like ours. Why not make a 6oz or 6.5oz can?

This food has done wonders for our kitties. Last year at this time, our Big Guy was hovering on obesity. We were feeding him Purina Naturals dry food with the occasional can of wet food. He was sluggish, inactive, and his coat was flaky and dry. In May, after doing some research, we decided to put both of our cats (not just the Big Guy) on a diet of one can of Wellness grain-free cat food a day. Since then, we have given them each a half a can of food in the morning and a half in the evening (one can each a day). The difference has been astounding. Our Big Guy jumps around the house, has leaned out considerably, flaunts fluffy soft silver fur, and beams with eyes as clear as glass. He is such a happy, big kitty now — we think he saved his life. While our spunky tabby was always doing great, the Wellness diet has made him even better. His tiger striped fur is so lush and he loves bounding around the house. They both can’t wait to eat this food. I highly recommend a one-can-a-day diet to get any cat feeling their most awesome!

The batch is bad, cats won’t eat it !

My cats love it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM AMAZON – My cats absolutely love this food. It’s appealing to the pickiest eaters. It is expensive though.
Order it from somewhere else or you will continually receive damaged spoiled food. My last 3 cases were so badly damaged that the cans split open and spoiled. The one before was lost in transit. The smell of the spoiled food marinating in the box was horrendous

My cats normally love this food but after this most recent order, I’m certain that the formula must have changed. They won’t touch the food and the little bit that they will eat, they’ve thrown up. For context, my cats are perfectly healthy and my older cat has been eating this food for years and never reacted this way. I’ll be buying directly from a pet store to see if there’s any change in their reactions – it may be an issue with Amazons supply?
One voracious reader –
Cats can be so finicky about what they’ll eat, loving a food one day, despising it the next. The chicken and herring flavor has been a consistent favorite the last couple of years. Good ingredients, and I appreciate it’s available as subscribe and save.

Cats still like this food with the new formulation- but I had to persist in giving it to them despite the turned up noses initially and the walks away in disgust- One trick I found to work, if they turned their nose up at the new food, was to move their food bowl somewhere strange and that befuddled their tiny kitty brains and they were more likely to sample the new food and give it a fair shake. I fed my boy cat the new food on his cat tree, or in the middle of living room a few times. I’d follow him sauntering away and just drop the bowl down. “how about now?”.. he finally relented and ate. I have to say the change to the new formulation was fortuitous for me as I was trying to get them off Wellness due to the carrageenan. One of my cats had been throwing up a few mornings a week after eating the old formula.Wellness has finally removed the carrageenan! She hasn’t thrown up since starting this new formula, fingers crossed.
** I won’t buy this in bulk from Amazon until I know this transition is over with- I can’t risk getting the old formula-
