The tank is great. Everything it came with is good for starters. I’ve used plenty of power filters in my day but this one is the loudest filter I’ve ever heard, sounds like an air pump. It was fine the first couple of days and now it’s so annoying I have to buy another one. So if you go for this tank, add a 20 gallon filter into your cart as well.

Es un buen inicio ya que tiene todo lo necesario aunque en mi caso fue para substituir un pequeño acuario ya que mis peces estaban creciendo. Me parece que al filtro le falta capacidad de filtrado ya que entiendo que si el acuario es de 20 galones el filtro debería poder limpiar 60. Aunque ya lo apoye con otro filtro interno (del acuario anterior que me ayudó a acelerar el ciclado) y un producto que se llama Purigen (recomendado) Igualmente al filtro se le rompió la válvula de regulación de agua haciendo que no subiera por el tubo, pero con un poco de cinta teflón lo repare. Lo demás está bien. El calentador está preconfigurado para la temperatura y no se puede cambiar aunque se mantiene entre los 24 grados. En resumen me agrado la compra y la tapa con luces le dan muy buen aspecto. Ahora que bajo de precio me dan ganas de comprar otro jaja.

Una gran opción para los que se inician en la acuariofília (80 lts) La urna de cristal es de buen material y esta bien ensamblada. El calentador mantiene una temperatura de 24 a 26 grados y el filtro a pesar de quedarse corto cumple con su función. ( Se recomienda tener filtro de respaldo) La pantalla de led es buena. Por lo que respecta al alimento y al acondicionador, estaría mejor si mandan los botes aunque sean de 250 ml y no sobres de muestra….

I bought this tank for my two daughters, ages 4 and 7, who were interested in getting some glo fish. Originally the plan was to go with two small tanks for each of their rooms but quickly learned this was a much more cost effective option as well as more likely to have happy fish and be visually appealing. We liked the look of the Color Fusion versus the Glo Kit because of the color changing option. We have had the tank set-up without water for a couple weeks, finally filled it up and got the filter and heater going yesterday, and have made 6 GloFish a home today. This works really well with GloFish, for those that might be wondering. After a lot of shopping for tanks, I went with this kit because the reviews were positive, the price was right for what you get, and the customer service responses were encouraging that if we had any after purchase questions and needs, they would be taken care of, and they have been.
This tank comes with….
– A pump and filter. It is quiet other than the water movement, which is actually quite relaxing. You need to change this monthly from what I understand. It has a low and hi setting.
– A heater. It is not adjustable but seems to be holding the temp just fine for our Tropical GloFish.
– A Color Fusion light. It cycles through the colors, you can press the button to halt in on a color if you wish. There is not an off button, so if you want the light off at night you will need to either unplug it or put it on a timer.
So if you are counting that is 3 outlet openings that you will need and you should probably have this going to a ground fault outlet, which we did.
– Comes with a few Color Fusion decorations and a really nice sea anemone decoration.
-A net, a little packet of water conditioner, and a small packet of fish food.
-A Thermometer – ours was missing this, but the company was really helpful in getting that resolved.
What you will need to get:
– You will need to get some more decorations for sure. No gravel comes in the kit. I bought a total of 34 lbs of gravel, All black for the base and then 2 – 2lbs of color glo gravel, and 2 small bags of gem rocks.
– More fish food and water conditioner
– A gravel vacuum
– A background for the tank. I used black Cricut Vinyl.
– The FISH 🙂
April 2019 EDIT:
After an estimated 9000 hours the light has quit working. We leave the light on about 12-14 hours a day and shut it off at night. I am attempting to contact company to see about a replacement. I am not finding what they state the life of the light should be, however, other companies that sell similar lights claim a guarantee for 50000 hours. I will let you all know what I find out.
After finding a couple different contact emails with various responses one sent me a replacement light. We have the new one on a timer that is one 8 hours per day. We have a llevo and 5 Flo fish in the tank. And pleco like dark to get out and eat that algea so that is why the light settings

I purchased this tank for my 8 year old. It arrived early and handled with great care. Everything is pretty easy to set up. We love the color changing lights! The tank is as described, however it didn’t come with the grass mat decoration, which didn’t really matter we used the other decorations that came with the tank and also added a few more of others we purchased separately. Also, I can see we will probably upgrade the tank lid because it’s quite flimsy, but it works for now. Filter works great, noise doesn’t bother us. We’ve only had it setup and running for 24 hours, so I’ll update later on, after we’ve had it a while.

Excelente precio por lo que recibes. Las plantas artificiales son muy bonitas y de excelente calidad, nosotros cambiamos algunas solo por gusto, pero el surtido que incluye es más que suficiente tanto en variedad como en cantidad. No me gusta que el filtro whisper funciona con cartuchos desechables, intentaré adaptar algún filtro de gruesos y biológico que se adapte a mi gusto. En general, muy satisfecho con la compra, de hecho ordené también la versión Glo que también está muy bonita.

It’s an aquarium. Not huge but big enough, you can put many different fish in it. I personally love it. I had an aquarium growing up that was the same size, but haven’t had one in 20 years. This is a great one to get back in the game. Here are my initial impressions, and I will also leave some highly recommended upgrades to get you started.
It’s came securely packaged. Working for a few years in distribution, I am fine with how it was packaged and don’t get the issue that some people complain about. It comes with a lot of nice little extras. Water treatment, thermometer, fishnet, fish food…every little thing you can think of to get started. If you are thinking of getting an aquarium, I would definitely start with this one.
Now, bad things.
Sorry, but I have to do this. It comes with an nonadjustable thermostat. It heats to about 74 -76 degree range, so this will be the very first part replaced. But it also doesn’t come with an underwater filter and air diffuser of any kind. I know that the filter it comes with naturally diffuses air back into the water, but….personal preference. So here are the upgrades that I think you should add to your cart before you purchase this item.
Start off by buying an undergravel, filter. This one fits perfectly

2 bag minimum…I messed up and just bought 1 bag. It didn’t even cover the bottom with a thin layer. 2 would work, I think, but I went ahead and just placed an order for an extra 2 that will give me a total of 3.

We bought this fish tank for my 14yo daughter for Christmas. The kit had the basics for getting started. We purchased gravel, a few additional decorations, an air pump, test strips, a gravel vacuum (manual), and various water treatments that weren’t included.
The filter makes some noise but nothing too disruptive. After cycling the tank, testing the water, etc, she recently added some neon tetra, a baby pleco, and a snail. The LED light is a nice touch and really highlights the tetra and the glo-fish gravel we chose. Overall, my daughter is delighted and the lid is handy to keep out the cat, who is also delighted.
This is a decent beginner setup for the money. Would recommend!
