La lámpara Hygger llegó rapidísimo. Bien protegida en su paquete. Es fácil de instalar y de manejar. Las diferentes funciones se realizan en la caja (con botones) que tiene en el trayecto del cable (no es de control inalámbrico). El espectro lumínico es adecuado para el acuario plantado. Además de que hace resaltar el acuario de forma notoria. (Al acuario le retiré la tapa, y coloqué plantas que sobresalen de su altura, y con la lámpara se ve increíble).

I stand by hygerr and all their products for fish keeping. This light is no different. The customization is great for the prize and the quality and design is top notch. My only suggestion would be for them to include a shade so the light doesn’t spill out into the rest of the room because it is bright!

Such a nice aquarium light. I love the variety of colour options. I mostly leave it on just the regular full spectrum setting, but at night the colours give my tank a nice ambience. My plants are doing really well! I have a rimless tank and this fits perfectly on the glass. Also, I appreciate the brightness adjustment setting, perfect for certain plants. Highly recommend:)

purchasd this light as it advertised a “natural” lighting cycle. very easy to use as well as set up and esthetically pleasing. I also like to pop plant propogations in my filter area so it helps them as well. This tank is about 19 inches long and it illuminated very well. Love that you can set different colors and they are very bright.

I started cycling my 1st 10 gal shrimp tank about 6 weeks ago. Since it was to be a planted tank, it was going to need a decent light. This light rocks! Especially the 24/7 sunrise to moonset mode. My tank has black substrate and some nice size white quartz rocks that form a focal point. The rocks look amazing in the orange glow of the brightening sunrise, as well as the blue as the “moon” sets. I have a 2nd 10 gal tank now cycling, and have placed an order for another one of these lights. Should be here in a couple of days. The plants seem to be doing well, although most are slow growing. I’ll be using dragon stone in the 2nd tank with yellow golden back shrimp. I have blue dreams in the 1st tank. This light and Hygger’s double sponge filters are must haves as far as I’m concerned.

Received the 2nd light and another double sponge filter (HG 908). I’m very pleased with both sets, and my yellow Golden Backs are on their way. The light also makes the dragon stone pop!

I have an awkward sized rimless tank ( 11”) so most of these aquarium lights with timers seem to start around 12” and upwards so I found this thinking it would be the solution for my lighting.
Pros:
– Quality: I like it, it feels like its a good quality light and the light is bright and really brings out the colors in your tank. for the price, Its definitely worth it!
Things I wish I knew before buying this/ Cons :
– This light function is very straight forward and “basic” but none of the extra lights/buttons/functions seem to actually work together.
– I thought I would be able to adjust the sunrise, daytime, sunset, and moonlight to how long I can have my lights on for the tank; (ie: sunrise mode gradually getting brighter for a set amount of hours and eventually dimming) but, thats not possible. the only thing you can do is just set the timer to start the day only using 6 specific time/points, and let it run its full programmed course.
– The brightness setting can only be used as just that- you can not set a timer for a specific brightness. If you wanted to have your lights on for 6 hours, you would have to do it manually.
– The light setting different colored light settings are just that, different colors + one setting that shifts through all the lights ( rave lights for your fish? ) This function also does not work with the timer setting or the brightness setting.
– The standard timer setting isn’t too bad. the white light turns on dim and gradually gets brighter, it takes about ~10 minutes for it to reach full brightness it seems. I don’t like that you are limited to 6 hours ( feels a bit too short ), 10 hours ( big jump from 6) , and then 12 hours ( does anyone need ~12 hours of white lights at 100% brightness?) This function also does not have sunrise/sunset/moonlight modes. its just white light.
– The only option to fully get your money’s worth seems to be the 24 hr mode, which gives you all those different lightings to mimic the phases of the day, but depending on your set up it can feel like an excessive amount of lighting.
This light does have its perks, but just the fact that none of its different functions are able to work together makes it feel as if all the other options are useless and it somewhat feels limiting.
