Mine came in one piece and was packaged with lots of insulation. It works really well, but there is a vent/access on the back right top of the cage. I didn’t notice it right away, and a craft cricket managed to escape. So make sure to slide it closed before dumping any crickets in. I have a juvenile pink toe tarantula (avicularia avicularia) and the size is perfect.

This small terrarium is one of the best on the market for baby arboreal reptiles, amphibians, or medium arboreal tarantulas. It is well ventilated with easy access doors and a large field of view. It can easily hold decorations and false/real foliage in addition to the assets of the animal dweling in it.
This said, it is not without small flaws.
It’s lock seems a tad on the weak side for what it needs to hold in. Though it has never failed I have another lock on the enclosure to prevent escape. It also very poor at holding humidity. Due to the ventilation and open screen top, an animal needing humidity of 70% or more will need at least two mistings a day, while an animal needing 90% or more will need three mistings to achieve the desired humidity. Overall it is a sturdy and beautiful setup for an animal that is certainly worth it’s reasonable cost.

I love my tank! I’ve only had it for a short time but when I pulled it out the box I was so happy! It has no damage and it takes up half the space of my old tank. My other tank was on sale and costs about $10 less than this one, but the appearance is no comparison. I absolutely love the front door. It took me a second to figure out the front door and top mesh locks. They are thin plastic and I didn’t want to break them. I saw a lot of people hated the foam piece it came with, but I think it’s a nice touch. I wish it didn’t have the molding impressions because it would actually look pretty realistic otherwise. I thought it was interesting that they design the back to be hollow for tubes or wires to be fed through. I will not be using that but I like that they though of that. I’ll be using my tank for a regular land snail. I haven’t put the snail in yet because it’s laying eggs, but I think she’ll be happier in this tank because it has more ventilation. I appreciate that the bottom is glass because I can keep an eye out for eggs. All in all, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The only con I see in my personal opinion is that the plastic pieces are cheaply made. However, I will not be accessing them often and I’m okay with being extra careful. I think for the price, this tank is really nice!
Update: I have since put my snail in the tank and I’ve never seen it so active! I think the height and vent design keep the inside moist. I use a spray bottle. The water collects on the top screen, which I appreciate! The screen is also very fine, so it’s much harder for gnats to get in. My pet also enjoys climbing on the foam piece that came with the tank. The size is suitable for my snail and would accommodate more. I think more than one of these tanks would look really cool next to each other. Would definitely order another, maybe larger one in the future and I would recommend for use with animals that don’t require a lot of space. Two thumbs up from me!

This is an excellent quality product. I ordered two, and I feel it was a great deal. It’s well designed and looks great too. Shipping was incredibly fast, and I appreciated that it didn’t use a wild amount of packing materials, and both units arrived together and in perfect condition. I’d give them more stars if I could!

I purchased this terrarium to make a vivarium for my orchid mantis when she gets a little bit bigger. I absolutely love it! It is small, sturdy, & good quality. It opens from the top as well as the front which is useful because praying mantis’s like to hang from the top so I can water plants & feed her bugs through the front door instead of disturbing her by opening the top. It also passed the water leak test, it came already waterproof on the bottom so I did not have to apply extra silicone to the edges which was a criticism I read on reviews for other terrariums. I would recommend this terrarium for any small pets like bugs/small frogs/small lizards.

For reference I am a serious exotic pet-keeper, and this is the absolute best enclosure I have come across. I am planning on investing in other sizes for my other pets when I can afford them.
– The residents of this Nano are C. morosus walking sticks (stick bugs). They were loaded in en masse as nymphs and are now subadults, but quite large. It’s hard to count them all amidst the foliage, but something like ten sticks are living in here comfortably.
– The front access, top access, and mesh are invaluable. I had no idea that my sticks would spend 80% of their time on the roof, so I shudder to think how I would have used a traditional top-opening enclosure without losing sticks every time I opened it.
– The doors are very secure but easy to open.
– To my knowledge, no nymphs (c. 1.5″) were able to get behind the backdrop, though I can see how one might be concerned; I filled the substrates a bit higher to ensure nobody could get down and behind, but mine was very well-fitted and high quality.
– The size is honestly a fair bit larger than I expected it to be (I was envisioning it — incorrectly — as going to be about the size of a small “betta bowl” but square, and this is fantastically larger, not so “nano” at all.
– This is an excellent choice, because of the verticality, for arboreal creatures. I would recommend a different size/shape for any terrestrial pets.
P.S. For anyone else looking for stick maintenance, look up the Snake Discovery video on stick care. I followed her instructions fairly exactly and have a lot of very happy sticks.
