Bleeds red/brown. Please wash before using. Even after the first wash, it still kinda bleeds which is a bit unfortunate. I used it for my plants and they seem to be okay with it so far.

Didn’t realize this wasn’t a bag of loose material it is a hard block had to soak it to get it to come apart, which I didn’t want it wet because I was using it for my plants to mix in soil for better drainage. It was the cheapest I found though and it will work once it dried out, but just know it’s a hard solid block.

Fresh clean coconut husk. My snake adores it
Kalistorm –
I use this to mix with soil, or by itself for my housevolants.

Da para muchos litros, aunque parezca poco. Una vez absorve el agua, como pone en les instrucciones, sorprende la cantidad que sale.

Before getting this, i was using peat moss as a substrate for my box turtle’s enclosure. I was having issues with it though, so i decided to try something new. This is great! smells nice too.
Also! I saw a lot of people in the reviews saying they weren’t expecting a large dry block; you are supposed to soak it in water. Check the back of the package.

I have a large collection of Hoyas and while I’ve used orchid bark in my substrate for years, I have come to prefer coco husk much more, as it’s easier to shred, more light weight, and airy. I combine it with a small amount of potting soil, perlite and charcoal for a perfect mix. I got the 7.2 bag, NOT the compressed packaging. The bag came packed full to the top, so it will last me a very long time. It’s clean, with no smell, it’s easy to shred into small pieces and there are no random rocks or sticks like I often find with orchid bark mixes. It’s a great value and I recommend.

I use these chips to make a chunky soil mix for some of my plants. They arrived quickly and the price was great. No complaints!
