Worked like a charm. Good fit and easy to put on.

I’m a 5’2″ 150lb female and the size small fits great! I tried the medium size first and it pressed hard against my cheekbones and became leaky around my nose when I smiled, so I just got the size small in today and it fits perfectly! The clips are hard to work with to adjust the straps, but with a good fit I won’t need to adjust them often (if ever, after the initial adjustment). It’s also notable that the medium mask smelled fine when I got it, but the small mask has a funky smell (like a rubbery smell?) but hopefully it’ll dissipate soon once it airs out a bit. This is especially important for me because I have chemical hypersensitivities. Otherwise, it’s very comfortable to wear this mask for hours (I’ve worn it for 8 hours straight no problem). The valves work great so that it doesn’t get too hot/humid and my face doesn’t get oily. I did purchase some silicone pads and attached them to the plastic of the head strap when I used the size medium for better comfort with long hours of use, but I might not even need them for the size small since it doesn’t need to be as tight to seal well on my face. For other people with chemical sensitivities and/or lung issues who need an effective and easy-to-breath-through filter, I suggest pairing this respirator with the 3M Advanced Particulate Filter 2297 P100’s. Of course it depends on what exposures you’ll be around, but they have very low resistance and are supposed to help filter out organic fumes. Again, just a suggestion – do your research first.
Medium vs Small don’t look much different outwardly, but definitely fit differently. The medium is perfect for my 5’11” heavyset husband. The small is perfect for little 5’2″ me.
Pictures:
Inside of the small respirator, medium respirator on (more grey, with my hair pulled back – you can see it pressing on my cheekbones), and small respirator on (more beige, with my hair down – much better fit! I can smile with it keeping a good seal! =D).
Pros:
Super affordable and good quality
Fits great if you get the right size
The valves work fantastically!!
Very comfortable for hours
Cons:
Clips for adjusting the straps are a bit annoying
Whistles when exhaling for some filters (like 3M 2297’s)
Might smell weird at first, but not necessarily

I initially bought this for making my ballast-weights ror my RC boats (don’t want to be poisoned by lead-melt fumes) I bought a cheaper off-brand, but they don’t warn you that for smaller people, the ‘medium’ will NOT fit.
So I had the correct filters, but no mask. 3M is one of the few that ~does~ make a smaller unit of same design, so I decided to buy, and it ~was~ worth the extra cost. It takes the same filters, is well-made, and easily adjusted for my smaller size. I expect I’ll be using this mask for more than just the lead-melting.

Still going strong after all these years, only the elastic has worn.

Respirator used for foam insulation install. Fit snug and tested well for leaks. With filters installed no vapor issue!

I ordered this thing as just a general purpose filter mask because I don’t/didn’t have one and I do occasionally do things where having one would be a good thing. Like cleaning the coils under my refrigerator when they have so much dust it’s unbelievable. I don’t really want to breathe that crap and I could use a little cheapo facemask but they never fit right and the real cheap ones don’t have a vent so the air gets stale and the dust still gets through and AHHHH!
So this doesn’t cost a lot. 8 bucks. I figured I’d give it a shot. What can you buy for 8 bucks these days? I was kind of annoyed that it doesn’t come with any filters at all (have to order them separate) but again, 8 bucks. I’ll end up spending more on filters for this than it cost. Those are pricey. Even for the basic ones. I don’t understand why. Even the ones that have charcoal in them are not that complicated to manufacture so why the big price?
Oh well. Anyway. I just got this yesterday and am still waiting on my “filters sold separately” which will not be here for days. I guess that’s what you get when you go cheap. I was going to order the other one that supposedly comes with filters but some people said they didn’t get the filters and I wasn’t going to pay twice as much for the same basic product that’s supposed to come with filters but sometimes doesn’t.
I think this will do the trick for my purposes. I’m not going to be doing anything super hardcore with it. Mostly just dust.
I was obviously a bit concerned about the fit but that turned out not to be an issue really. Seems to fit well and is adjustable. It’s a little uncomfortable but it’s a mask that goes on your face and stays there with the help of elastic bands. Comfort is relative in that scenario. Like I cam imagine it would probably be unpleasant to wear this for a long time but I doubt you’d get much improvement in that area unless you spend A LOT more. I personally don’t have the funds to experiment and see if one that costs ten times more is a little more comfortable.
Anyway, I have tested it by putting it on and blocking the intake holes to see if it seals well around the silicone part that goes against your skin and it does. There is a little bit of air getting through somewhere but that’s if I really push it. When you have filters on there, you’re not going to be trying that hard to get the air in and the air is going to take the path of least resistance (like air does). A set of clean filters that are not completely clogged are going to be that path.
I do wear glasses and it’s a bit close but I can wear them with this on. The nose bridge area is just right there where if it came up any more it would be a problem. But it’s probably about as good as you can expect on that for low cost.
I mean, it’s a little bit cheaply made but really not bad for what it costs. It will get the job done.

Got this mask for my construction job, and it honestly is a very good mask. It’s pretty easy to use, it’s very durable, and fits the filters well. It’s very easily adjustable. Would recommend

Great fit and finish. The mask is soft enough to be comfortable and provides a good seal. But the material is thick enough that it won’t tear. This mask is compatible with every 3m filter that I have and any aftermarket filter that I have tried with it. Straps even adjust for my huge head and it fits my wife as well who does not have a huge head.

We used it a couple of times for attic work. It has been working wonderful each time. The air feels quite fresh, while it was quite easy to breath.
After multiple use, still works equally wonderful.
It was easy to clean up the exterior as well.
It is one of the best tools I have bought. Would highly recommend to anyone in need.

Excelente calidad de 3M no incluye filtros buen tamaño .

I am just entering the UV resin crafting world and loving it. The grandkids pop in often and want to “create” too, so felt I needed a second one. Reasonably comfortable and appears to be working correctly.

It fits me great, relatively comfortable and can wear with prescription glasses. I can imaging wearing it for an extended period of time.
I paired it with 3M 2901 P100 particulate filters to help with the fine dust generated during my weekend woodworking projects (especially when sanding.
