I bought this wrist rest/mousepad after experiencing severe pain in my wrist which likely resulted from too many extended gaming sessions. After trying several iterations of homemade solutions such as rolled up towels or large bubble wrap inside a sock (worked somewhat but was too mooshy) I decided to get something professionally designed.
This 3M wristpad has done the trick. Have not had another episode since I began using it 35 days ago. The pad itself is firm enough to provide support with just enough of a spongy feeling to avoid discomfort. When I press down on the material it gives to about a quarter inch before the firmness pushes back. You could think of it as a softer layer sitting atop a firmer layer beneath.
If you are looking for something really soft and squishy then this is likely not for you.
As for the so-called “curling” of the side edges, it is more of a raising up from the desk surface about 3/16 of an inch. Hasn’t affected my browsing or gaming in the least. I don’t use the edges of the pad for the mouse anyway, my mouse travels 1 inch on the mousepad going from the left side of the screen to the right and I try to stay in the center of the pad when using it. You could always use two sided tape if it bothered you too much.
The rubber base holds fast to the desk surface and even with all the activity I’ve put it through it has not moved a hair from the position I placed it on day one. The mousepad surface has not discolored from my mouse (a razer deathadder) and I have not noticed any negative effects from the textured surface. In fact I think it helps in my case since this mouse has some super slick teflon feet or something akin to that. Needs a little drag to keep me from always overmoving the cursor past where I intended.
Happy with the purchase and would recommend. Mine is the large/wider version. Hope it works for you as well.

Excellent ergonomic mousepad. I have been using it with Logitech M705 wireless mouse and it performs very well. The most important thing, comfort for my wrist, the reason I bought it for is at a high level. It is new, so I’, not sure how easy is to clean, but it probably is easy to clean. Haven’t tested how it good it sticks and not move on a classic office desk, but should be fine. So, I highly recommend this mousepad.

This is very comfortable. I have seen other reviews that state the rest part is too hard, but mine is softer and more comfortable than the foam pad that this is replacing. It has a very nice plastic surface for the mouse to slide on, which it does much better than my previous cloth/foam pad. The mousing surface is a very fine raised texture which does collect grime over time.
I have noticed that, like other reviews, it wants to curl up on the sides. I left the protective plastic on the bottom, and it stays in place fine on my wooden desk, but I can see about an eighth of an inch gap between the bottom of the pad and the desk on both sides. The only other problem I see is that it could be just a little bit bigger…
PROS:
Very smooth mousing, better than ‘fabric’ type pads
Comfortable wrist rest, faux leather is comfortable to touch
CONS:
Textured surface WILL get dirty unless used in a sanitary environment, very hard to completely clean once dirty
Wrist rest, although still comfortable, seems to have collapsed a bit from constant use (I’ve been told I have heavy arms, LOL)
I would highly recommend this product for just about anyone. I do NOT use a wireless mouse, so I cannot comment on the claims of ‘better battery life’, but with a wired laser mouse (Logitech M500) it works excellent. I use it mainly for online schooling and web-browsing, but it has been through some extensive gaming sessions, and I occasionally do 3D modelling and photo editing (where pin-point accuracy is a must). It lets the mouse slide extremely well EXCEPT when it gets dirty, and scrubbing the pad and the bottom of the mouse with a damp cloth or alcohol pad will remove the buildup to allow it to slide like new again.

I LOVE this mouse pad. It arrived quickly and is even better than I expected.
I was attracted to the fact that it is built to prolong the battery life of wireless mice. I don’t really care what pattern my mouse pads have but this one is pretty cool given it was meant to be purely functional. I bought it mostly for use on my couch when I’m gaming on my laptop and am very happy with how sturdy it is, it still has bend to it but it’s about half a centimetre thick and perfect for surfaces that aren’t firm. I realized after I purchased it that it comes in two sizes and at first I was worried that the bigger one I got would be too big to fit my lap tray, but it is PERFECT. It’s small enough to not take up much real estate but does not need to be any bigger; I can drag my cursor clear across my screen without touching the edges. The wrist support is also very comfortable; firm with a little bit of give and cool to the touch, made of what feels like a durable material. Best of all, the mouse glides over it SO SMOOTHLY; it feels so satisfying.
I have included pictures with an Anker wireless mouse and Dell XPS15 for scale. The bottom comes covered with a plastic film that I imagine you’re supposed to take off, but I haven’t yet since it protects the sooth underside and still has enough friction to stay put. Overall the build quality is really great; the materials feel sturdy and durable, there is weight to it and everything is symmetrical and carefully put together. You can certainly get cheaper mouse pads, but I definitely think the price for this one is worth it. I would definitely recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.
The difference is hugely noticeable, they changed the model number to mw310LE from mw310 – the difference is China manufactured, it’s not the same. My mouse pad used to glide around the pad, now it feels heavy and zippy feel to the texture of the pad. The corners are bending up off the desk. see video

I received a brand-new product in original packing. Hand support is soft comapared to the one i had earlier. but i fear how many years it will last. since it is 3M product i hope it should last more. i liked the product overall within nothign to complain except that the product was sold at full MRP of 1500 rs… no discount , even for an online purchase.

I had placed an order on 3/3/22 and received the product in good condition at 8/3/22. I will use it often for PC gaming as it will protect my wrist.

A bit over a year full time working from home, and starting to feel the strains of a close but not quite ergonomic setup. Will admit, purchased this because it looked the nicest and matched the leather top on our built-in desks. Happy thus far. Is a comfortable height. Has a good level of give/resistance. Never had one before so can’t comment on comparison to models of old. Purchased this along with the matching keyboard wrist support. Definitely on the pricier side compared to some other offerings but feels like it will stand up to wear as most 3M products do.

I LOVE this mouse pad. Would definitely buy again. For all the people complaining about them “curling up”, I REALLY wish you would have taken the time to research and read ALL the reviews for this, especially the review submitted for the smaller version. One of the guys there suggested leaving the film on the back(yeah, I know, you should remove it for the anti-slip feature). He said if you do this and use it for a while, it allows the pad to get used to the movement of the mouse across the top surface and if and when you do take the film off, it will not curl up. Took his advice as I really don’t need the anti-slip feature and I see NO SIGNS WHATSOEVER of anything “curling up”. Absolutely love the mousing surface as the texture seems to give great feedback to the laser and tracking is awesome. I use a Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX and paired up, these are my mousing dreams come true. The wrist rest is rather firm but I like it and it gives great support. The really awesome thing is when you get this thing and pick it up, it’s got some good weight to it and seems sturdy and well built.
Follow up 4/30/2105: After using this for quite a while now for several hours daily I only have one complaint and it could be my fault due to positioning, table height, chair height, etc. However, the wrist rest to me seems overly firm, almost hard. Because of the position, etc. in which I am using it I tend to put quite a bit of weight on the wrist rest and after a while it starts to huts a bit. Otherwise, IMHO, it is by far the best wrist rest/mouse pad money can buy. I am getting a new desk setup soon and I believe that will put me in a position where this problem is eliminated so when I manage to wear this one out(which I don’t see happening in the foreseeable future) I will definitely buy another just like it.
