So the product’s Fair. You know it’s $10. Even though if you spent like another $10 or $20 you could get a way higher quality product that looks better. Feels better. Works better. This will get you by for 10 bucks. It’s a good deal, especially if you’re not on the water a lot. And you know you just might be going on a temporary outing. Or maybe you’re just a good swimmer or you’re not going to be going too far from the bank or Coast. Probably double it as a cushion. I mean if you’re on a tight budget, you know you have to buy one of these for multiple people. Then this is probably the way to go. Pair this with a Intex explorer 300 that’s on sale right now for $37 and you’re in the water. Pretty economically right there.

It’s great but it came with a bad smell.

Very fast shipping and item is just like advertised but not at all comfortable and not intended for long term floating use.

These life jackets were the perfect addition to ensuring people were safe at the beach during the picnic.
These are still in use today with minor fade in the color, nevertheless, great purchase.

Basic Coast Guard Approved “Adult” size life jacket. Not for children!
It works “If” you know how to put it on! Not everyone knows how and you may not have time to teach everyone onboard during an emergency.
It’s best to have the proper “type” and “size” life jackets fitted correctly on everyone before setting sail.
Don’t stow the life jackets out of sight or tie them down, they need to be quickly accessible.
On this life jacked the label goes facing “outward” on your back.
The buckle end faces forward on your chest.
The strap is left unbuckled until after you place the jacket over your head.
Then wrap the strap around your waste and buckle it.
Then pull the slack out of the strap to tighten it.
This is what I did to my life jackets:
I took a black sharpie and wrote “FRONT” on the front side of jacket (buckle side).
I then wrote “ADULT” and # 1 on the front side of jacket (# 1 being me).
I wrote “BACK” on the back (label side) of jacket.
I did the same for my wife showing “ADULT” and # 2 on the front side of jacket (# 2 being my wife), etc, etc.
I would strongly suggest you fit these life jackets correctly and learn how to put them on when you get them and not wait until you have a need to use them!
If your life jackets are old, faded or torn replace them.
As a basic inexpensive life jacket that’s USCG approved I recommend it.
