I would like to add that, as commented by others, the zipper is particularly a hassle. I never had another sleeping bag, so I don’t know what other designs there could be. But from experience, this sleeping bag’s interior zipper is neigh-impossible to pull up. You might as well just commit to using the outter zipper every time you use this bag.
I recieved this product with no blemish, and the interior of the bag was clean.
This insulated me really well duing 20-40 F weather, as described. But do note that you should wear some clothing, sensibly. One layer pants and a long sleeve with hoodie was enough to stay very warm in 40F.
Thermal underpants might be needed on top of another layer of pants might be needed for 20F. It’s personal preference.
There’s like a serious amount of leg space for someone that’s 5’9”. You can get so cozy in there.

This bag doesn’t know what it wants to be. The loft seemed good, and I’m not sure about the fill… but the bad stitching, costume/ airsoft quality zipper, and no compression sack lets you know it’s a sleepover party bag for kids. HOWEVER… it’s adult length, and would be pretty warm for that purpose. So, what is it supposed to be used for? I was surprised that this had the “Amazon Basics” label, because this is more like “AliExpress Basics.”

I bought this bag for a weekend camp – we had temperatures that approached the low 30s. I was surprised at how warm the bag was, I had gone to sleep in a warm base layer and heavy socks. On the second night, the zipper separated, which proved impossible to set again without the aid of some camp soap later on in the day. A beefier zipper would have likely survived the angled pull that you need to do to properly zip the bag up. I found the hood very difficult to close reliably as well, which resulted in a slightly chilly head. For the price, I think it’s a pretty good buy – but don’t expect top quality out of this bag. It is what it is, a basic mummy bag.
TL;DR – I wish the zipper was more robust, which would have saved me a pretty cold night’s sleep!

This sleep sack was wonderfully comfortable on a recent camping trip. Nice and roomy (I’m 5’ 9”, 165 lb), and plenty warm (low to mid 40s on the first night, low 50s on the second).
I love the soft interior—that’s a change from the sort of taffeta-like material in many other bags. It doesn’t roll up as small as some other bags I’ve used, but it’s small enough for car camping.

I own a number of sleeping bags. Which one I use depends on what I am doing and nighttime sleeping conditions. A lot of bags you might use for camping are very suitable for short hikes or vehicle camping vs multi-night hikes. Priorities shift with bag weight, packed volume, and perceived comfort. I used to prefer what this current Amazon Basics bag calls “hollow polyester” insulation. These types of bags are a bit less fussy about washing instruction vs feather downs and in warmer sleeping conditions, I think they feel a bit cooler. That said, I really love my feather down 0F bag for warmth and compressibility. (If I get warm, I just sleep on the cushy top). Of course, cost can escalate with down construction.
That said, this Amazon Basics bag finds a happy middle for the “Four C’s” — comfort, compressibility, construction, and cost. Construction is very good, with zippers that do not bind and are suitably large enough to grasp with light gloves. The mummy style hood has an adjustable drawstring and a Velcro strip for secure and comfortable body heat retaining fit.
The carry sack is tied off to the hood drawstring, so you have to untie it to use, but unlike many stuff sacks, this one is actually large enough to use without a lot of effort. The sleeping bag itself is less compressible and does take up some volume so it would not be my first choice for overnight hiking. Comfort is good, with a soft inner and outer nylon fabric. For my 5-foot 10-inch body, the fit was excellent without any perceived tightness even in the narrow portion of the bag. Finally, the cost – for this price you can outfit the whole family!

Bought this for our first father/sons hiking trip… Ended up snowing that night, the tent got covered with at least 1/2″ of snow, temperature drops, and unable to start a fire… BUT- they slept dry and warm! Shoot- the boys even slept in the next morning… Then we packed up and left😂

Zip can be a bit tricky, the zip protector gets stuck but protects inner linner. Excellent well made bag no lose threads solid stitching, only used in house but no heating very warm cozy great performance have to watch it with thermals on inner liner grabs a bit. Great item for price, will not be doing pennine way in the snow again at my age, this bag a little heavy for that trek and would need extra liner. Bit snug on the shoulder plenty room in the length I am 5foot 8inch. Looks good in green not bad at all. Great bag would recommend for shorter hikes and plenty warm enough for most winter conditions.
