It worked for a day. The Nvidia driver and GEFORCE Experience installed without issues but then this morning stopped displaying anything. It worked all last night until a few minutes ago. Since I am highly suspicious of this device, I’m not returning it for a refund, but instead will physically destroy it and purchase a legitimate new card.

Somehow receiving a card banging around in a large cardboard box was not what I’d expected. When I opened the box I found the card stuffed in a Fedex bag. rattling around. Upon inspection I found the card covered in dust and grime and one side for some unknown reason corrosion? Side of the RCG port, edge of the computer box post? It was almost like it had been exposed the elements? I’m imagining the PC was left on a palette somewhere exposed to the elements. The amount dust and grime suggested the card had some serious mileage on it. It did work after I went online to find instructions and drivers for it so 2 stars for its survival. You literally get nothing but the bare card. You’d be better off Bidding for a “used” card cause this one was seriously whooped and not “renewed”.

The 1660 line is probably one of my favorite budget friendly cards, coming in at under the $200 price point these days.
Despite stronger cards out there, there isn’t much to scoff at with the 1660 ti; running on the pcie 4.0 means modern motherboards can use it’s full power, the 6gb memory is enough for a lot of titles when paired with a suitable processor (I opted for an i5 10th gen). The design of the 1660 ti that I purchased meant I could use it in a small form case without having to hope I didn’t accidentally cause any unwanted contacts or break anything during installation.
If I have one gripe, it’s that renewed GPUS almost never have new thermal paste and I had to do that myself. I would prefer companies or sellers apply new paste to a card that’s seen even a years worth of use.
