Wow. I’m so impressed by this book. I work as an adolescent therapist and ordered a few books to help the kids regulate, and this is far and away the most helpful book on anger. I’ve used it with 3rd-8th graders and still find relevant, applicable activities. Very very happy that I purchased this one

This has some great information in it, but seemed to be repetitive in that it was several ways to introduce the same concepts.

Bra och uppskattad bok för barn.
Min bonusson uppskattade den och den hjälpte honom sätta ord på och förklara sina arga känslor.

I have three children and one of them has anger issues. I asked all of my kids to do this book together so he didn’t get singled out. Everyone has enjoyed using it and they all bond together while using it. But the best part is how it helps my son think about the details of his anger and behavior and the effect it has on others. When he starts getting angry, I can reference the book and help him understand what’s happening and how to stop it. I love this book. It has been great for my family.

My daughter and I are only partway through this book, but it has already sparked some great conversations and helped us to understand each other and our feelings better. My daughter is working through some tough feelings, and this is helping.

My 9 yr old is very hyper, ODD and ADHD diagnosed kid. As I am working on it I found this book very help full. Regret not buying it at age 5.

This is the best workbook I have seen yet on anger for children. Very thorough, descriptive, useable worksheets to break it all down. Highly recommend.

Started this work book with both of my children this evening. They have a very hard time getting along and I think it has a lot to do with their age difference. Needles to say they both agreed to sit an try this book. At first they were just like blah.mom wants us to get along..blah..blah .. Ugh we got to read… But once they were able to do the activities and be interactive they didn’t want to stop where we did. I totally love that this book doesn’t just name a problem, it describes it, it helps you understand the base of the issue and its fun and interactive pages keep your attention. I am very thankful for this book, we sat as a group and read our answers aloud to each other and for those answers we didn’t want to share we had to name one thing we loved about the other person or one thing we would change. It was a success for my kids as they were actually having a nice conversation afterwards.

I bought this for my niece who has been having angry out bursts and breakdowns. She has been dealing with some adult issues recently and I wanted to find a way to help her better understand herself and others around her.
She couldn’t get enough of this book. Her mother is wonderful and worked with her and says it got her to begin understanding how anger feels vs other emotions, how she acts and what alternatives she can use when angry about something. It also helped her understand anger in others and realized she was misunderstanding how others were reacting to her.
She’s a wonderful 8 year old who is very aware of what is happening around her but just needed some direction on what it means to her emotionally and have her options on how to cope the best she can.
I highly recommend this book! Kids are full of questions and we’re should be the ones to help guide them. If you don’t know how, use resources like there’s or inquire with others but first and foremost, listen to what your kids are saying about the world around them and engage in conversation. The most impressionable years on their lives are up to age 7. Take advantage and communicate.
Best of luck to all those who have kids. You have the worlds future in that child.
God Bless

My grandchildren 8, 6 & 3 year olds like it. Surprising me with their drawings & answering questions (like ANGER smells like #2) Lol It’s a great talking openly & learning how different version of anger is to each of us.
Anger is ok, but it’s how they choose how to react
This book is wonderful!
I hope they get a handle on their anger & see that their anger behavior just gets them in more trouble and there are better ways to deal with problems.
Thank you, I’m very happy with this book!❤️
