It works fine but a few issues: 1) just leaving it plugged to the iPad 13” M4 without using it or anything connected, the unit gets very warm..not sure what is going on. 2) I don’t like that the SD card needs to be flipped upside down to be inserted instead of the label side up 3) It can only be used snuggly on naked tablet.

Solid build, and works great. The lip design helps the dock sit flush and secure on the iPad, unlike other docks that allow some movement when connected. Combining this dock with a usb 3 to usb adapter is a perfect solution to use a HD and charge your iPad at the same time.

Brought this to use with my new iPad Air as my pc is now too old! Works great, gives access to the files you need via the various ports! Plus you can charge through it & use wired headphones!!! Bonus! Fits very well & looks great too! Decided on this one after seeing many reviews & am very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded.
It says its not compatible with a glass screen protector but I still wanted to give it a try.
The hub originally has a rubber piece on it to keep it snug to the iPad’s screen but it wouldn’t fit because I had a glass screen protector. After removing the rubber piece, it now fits over the front but it is a little wiggly. I saw another user say they cut up the rubber piece for a more snug fit so I’ll have to give that a try, but so far so good. I use it with the Magic Keyboard and it’s easy to plug it in.

So far no issues with it. Its easy to plug in and I have no problem to have it together with a case. Works perfect if you use it with all the necessary ports for daily use and takes no space if you travel with it.

The item worked perfectly connected to an iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation. I bought a cheaper cover and routed out enough space around the connector so the dock would fit with the case on. {Dremel} Bought the Anker 45 watt power adapter and it quick charges and powers all accessories. The dock allows any wired keyboard or mouse to work. Recognized my external ssd drive. I can connect my irig analog through the headphone jack to my amp sims. A lot of feedback using headphones but connected my soundcore 30 watt Bluetooth to the headphone output of the irig. Sounds great no feedback.(higher input impedance) The hdmi output looks great and sounds great on a 4K tv. Tried my mpk 225, works. My Yamaha mg10xu, works . Saved me a lot of money not having to buy new outboard gear. Next test is a powered usb hub. Tried the amazon basic powered usb hub works with keyboard and mouse! My only gripe would be to have at least one more USB port but if the powered usb hub works, fantastic !

Bought this for 11inch M2 iPad Pro.
PROS:
– Fits perfect
– Does it job/function perfect.
– Mininal Design (metal build)
– When iPad docked in magic keyboard, Hub will act as a charger for USB c items if you connect the Magic Keyboard USB C port to a charging source.
CONS
– if you bump the hub while connected via HDMI and you are using the Magic Keyboard, the connection can be interrupted.
– The hub tends to get very hot when connecting the M2 iPad pro to an external 2k monitor via HDMI and multitasking pushing things to the external display.
– Wish it came with some sort of carry case. The USB C prong is left exposed.
– Glass screen protectors, if too thick, can interfere with hub fitting properly. Fit with my Paperlike protector just fine.
