I find that this product helpful in many ways as it offers to give accurate information in reference to time and attendance. Setting up system is a breeze and you can get this product to work in matter of minutes. And yes, the downside I went through was the software provide as it is very difficult to set up and get the most out of what it offers. Just like me, I hate products that are not user friendly and many have made comments to rating this product so low because of it’s difficulty getting time and attendance reports. However, I did my research in an attempt to find a software that offers what is easy and useful to my needs. As I ventured it’s lower end of this product with its brand, I found this Anviz AIM Lite software. I downloaded it as it was meant for the lower end finger print attendance device to try and see it’s compatibility. Sure enough, this software links to the device, features are not enormous were you get lost in setting up, very user friendly software, and it does serve it’s purpose of running my reports on time and attendance as its intended purpose. Video set up manual of this software is available on youtube to get you started. Overall, I am happy that I bought this product although not through amazon but hoping I can give little help to those who choose to but this product. Never experimented on life of battery so no info on that. Highly recommended..

No steenking subscription, yet tech support is quite helpful. In fact, we liked the first unit so much, we got another one for a second location with 8 employees. The first location is handling 24 people. One employee had no fingerprints, we gave him a card. Otherwise it works real well for us.

Needed to call Anviz USA tech phone support and it’s nonexistent. I emailed them twice and asked if they could email me a phone support number so I could finish setting the time clock up for my client and I never got a response. The product seems to be made decent but, no better than any other brand. Because technical support is so terrible, I would never buy Anviz time clocks again for any future clients nor would I recommend them, ever. This company should fold up shop and go away.

As other reviews said, instructions are terrible for sure. The software once setup is good. Needs to be able to schedule report jobs though so someone doesn’t have to run hour reports manually. Hardware wise, the fingerprint scanner is terrible. Taks about 5 scans on average to scan a fingerprint correctly and match it up, so stick with the userid/password instead. So for biometric systems, save your money and go with something more reliable. I develop software and perform system admin work and it still took about a day and a half to get everything going.
