So for anyone who ever had to remove the opening mechanism to convert a Dell optiplex or Precision MT model to fit a standard atx psu….THIS IS THE PSU TO GET!!! No more will you have to remove that mechanism to fit a psu….this will fit PERFECTLY so you can convert those Dell MT’s to gaming builds without worrying about the psu fitting or mutilating the case!

Garbage. Blew up and shorted out within the first 30 min of gaming. Luckily it did not damage my PC. My specs are well below a 500w limit. DO NOT BUY
Vicky –
It seems cheaply made, but it worked fine. The worst thing is that the cables are not sleeved, they’re loose like a handful of spaghetti. But on a cheaper build, who really cares?

Amazon Customer –
The only issue was that it was too big for my tower. No worries though as I don’t need it for esthetics. It also had additional cords I did not need to use. Maybe this would be useful on higher end machines.
In short, highly recommended. The price point is awesome for the quality.

I have purchased 4 of this model for various gaming builds. After putting them in machines that pull a max of 350w and having their capacitors literally explode during use, I won’t be buying these again. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Amazon should pull this product. Other Apevia PSUs have been fine, but as others have stated this one does not have proper circuit protection, nor does it deliver the advertised wattage.

Great power supply and for the price you can not beat it.

An inexpensive ATX power supply for a medium-sized computer, especially if you’re using a graphics adapter within the CPU.
