A corda Low G não é do mesmo material demais cordas. Ela é semelhante a quarta corda de um violão tanto no tamanho como no material. A sonoridade também é bem diferente das demais.

I have not been satisfied with any of the “Low g” strings I have tried up to now. (The last “custom” –strings were very disappointing in both price and performance. I have just been playing these strings before writing this review so I know they will “settle in”. The “g” and “C” sustain their pitch without dropping flat. Note…I didn’t see this in the product description…the “g” is a metallic-like material, but doesn’t feel like a wound string.

Each string was clearly labeled/colored.
The Low G string is wound – which it kind of has to be: a fully nylon string capable of hitting G3 with solid tension is going to be quite thick (a lot thicker than your uke may be built for). So, this string is about the same diameter as a normal Uke G string, and it fits perfectly.
Installation is… exactly like installing any other string. The ends of the Low G may fray a bit if you’re not careful during installation.
Because it is wound, you will sometimes have that “squeak” when you slide your fingers up and down the fretboard. Embrace it.
The strings took a looooong time to break in, but they managed to stabilize after a few days and about two dozen tunings. (Admittedly, I think I ran them around the tuning pegs a few more times than I should have).

Very nice tone, feel good under the fingers, including the low G which doesn’t always feel good with some other brands, decent price.

Great value.

I have had four different ukuleles, and have experimented with many different brand strings, but I always end up back with these Super-Nylgut strings. They sound great, have a lot of volume, feel fine on the fingers, and stay in tune better than other strings I have tried. I also like the white color, as it shows up well on the neck and frets. I played an original song for my Ukulele class, and several people asked me what strings I was using because they were impressed by the volume and intonation of my Tenor Ukulele with these strings on it. I have used them on Cordoba, Flight, Kala, and Kanilea Ukuleles.

Great tone and volume.

Bought the Low-G Super Nylgut. Even better than the original. Tune up fast and stay in tune quicker than than any other strings I’ve used. Put a set on my old uke and on a banjolele – sound great! Other strings I’ve used kept snapping on the banjolele – these are stable and haven’t snapped yet.
William Klepy –
Needed to replace my ukulele strings and decided to try low G string for a change and I like it and the quality of the strings very much.
Antonio Faria –
Wound string got some markings from frets after few weeks of use. But that doesn’t affect the sound and I like that it is wound and thin – better for intonation and easier to play and sound is brighter.
I can’t say I feel big difference compared to the New Nylgut. But these are not worse for sure. Good strings.

The media could not be loaded.
Honestly I never could’ve imagined how much better my ukulele would sound with a lower G. I’ve been using stings from this brand for a while and already knew that I liked the sound these strings produce, so I wasn’t concerned about the tone.
Something to keep in mind: the G string IS metal wound. It doesn’t bite into my fingers like guitar strings do, I was surprised that it didn’t hurt my fingers at all while getting used to the change honestly.
100/10, I’m definitely buying these again when my strings need to be changed ❤️
Kimberly D. Brown –
These are great for my tenor uke. The bulgur gives a somewhat more mellow timbre, but the strings still provide plenty of presence. Good product!
Jeffrey C. Schinsky –
I bought a very inexpensive tenor uke to try the “low-G experience,” and so far I’m very happy that I ordered these. First of all, the wire-wrapped low-G string is pretty much the same width as a nylon high-G string, so I was glad I didn’t have to file on the nut to make it fit. The strings have a great sound overall, and make my cheap uke give out a nice, rich ringing tone. I’m still not sure how well I’ll like playing low-G, but with this extra low-cost uke, I can still enjoy high-G on my go-to uke.
