Order this because the neighbors dogs wouldn’t stop barking at all hours of the day. They have 3 small lap dogs and I’m within about 30 feet from their porch so that might of helped. I used it every time they started to bark and they would take notice and stop. The barking is down to a minimum now.

My dog naturally has a very docile and subservient temperment so this device works great on him. After a few walks using it, I don’t even have to use it. His main issues were he gets too excited/over-emotional at seeing other people/dogs, and pulls the leash. These issues were completely fixed. But this device doesn’t work for all dogs- my friend has a similar dog to mine, but with a completely different nature, and it only worked for a few days before the dog stopped caring. I would get it just to try it out regardless as it’s a good price.

I have a 2 month old puppy that has been nipping at my kids and I saw all the great reviews so I purchased. I have tried it at my puppy and does not work, as I press and say no he does not react to it.

We acquired a 2-month-old puppy in February, and this bark deterrent devices is the best item I’ve purchased in puppy supplies so far. It absolutely deters my puppy from her very worst behavior, which was constant nipping at our hands and arms. I’ve only had to use it a very few times on the LOW setting. If she sees me simply LOOK at the device while I firmly say “No bitey!” she stops the behavior. And saying “No bitey” alone only works half the time with a slower response. She must really hate the device’s sound, because she will literally leap away from whomever she’s trying to nip, and then turn back to stare at us with an alarmed expression. I’ve never needed it for barking because that’s a non-issue. But the nipping was out of control, drawing blood, so we had to do something. I’m really glad this worked-and with minimal use!

I just received this device last evening. It only took a few minutes to be fully charged. When I press the button I hear a beep. I thought ultrasonic devices could only be heard by pets but the beep is not very loud to my ears. The device is a nice size to slip into a pocket. I will try it out in a couple of days on a small dog I’ll be watching.
I’ve tried the device several times to teach the dog to come. It seems to work especially if I reward the dog with a treat. I hope to teach the dog to stop barking but training a dog takes times. I bet this will work on barking too.

I bought this gadget to use on my neighbors dogs(3 of them) that bark continously at E V E R Y T H I N G! Sometimes they’re in the house, but when they’re outside, I just use a short beep and say “Hey” and sort of point my finger & look at them like I’m telling my child “no” or to stop messing with something😆. This is just over the course of maybe a week or 2.. Now all I have to do is step outside and say “hey” and they’ll immediately stop or a do a little whine before they go sit down on the porch 🤣🤣
