I bought this headset for broadcasting games & it works quite well with excellent noise cancellation for the mic! (My old mic would pick up everything) however if you don’t have an ASUS motherboard & accessory’s I would stay away from the Armory crate software needed to run all the extras that they advertise. It will install software that’s next to impossible to remove & take over your systems and destroy your rgb settings among other things and send your system into a loop of hell in some cases. (Took me 5 hours to remove the SW & restore my system as it simply would not boot & this using a newer system = R9 ,M2 hd, 23 gigs of ram & 3080ti W10 pro) Bare bones without the Armory SW it still offers a great sound and feels fantastic, it is a little lacking in the bass department but overall does what I needed but I wish i could use all the features without needing the Armory crate software ..

Perfect for PS5 with the 2.5 wireless band and dungle should be plugged into back of console not front. Bluetooth works great with my LG TV. Only bad thing is instructions are very poor while being confusing and of little help. Headphones are well made, comfy for the ears sound is great and the 3d audio is immersive, Asus software is not needed and really is just bloatware not worth downloading.

Pros
+Super comfortable, out of the box. Light weight, soft cloth (not athletic rough stuff), not too tight, this headset can be worn all day without any discomfort right away.
+Directional hearing is THE best I’ve ever used. I’ve tried everything from razer to Sennheiser with supporting hardware and THIS gives the best directional ques. I can hear a hanzo ult, and tell where it started and what direction it will go. I can tell what room people are in above and off to the side in Fortnite. These headphones are a distinct advantage and worth getting for this alone. I’ve STOPPED using my speaker setup for this advantage even when solo.
+Mic is crystal clear, it’s not phone quality but I’ve had multiple people in discord comment on my voice quality.
+Noise cancelling is above normal. I have small children, and these have enough noise cancelling that I can block them out when they come in during a gaming session. What’s better is the mic doesn’t pic them up, it doesn’t even pick up my phone playing videos though it does pick up my knuckles cracking oddly enough.

This is the first headset I’ve owned for gaming that has left me never wanting to try another headset. Whatever you have to do to justify buying these, do it. Sell your blood, whatever, it’s worth it.

If you get armory crate working congratulations hopefully you have the patience to do so I think these headphones are terrible they have scratchy horrible sound my mic does not work or it only works a little bit where the mic meter in the actual Windows 11 settings the green meter doesn’t even flash when you talk my friends can’t even hear me the other main deal breaker is it’s in 16 bits sound 16 bit sound is freaking 😔 terrible the review said that this headset was way too loud and that is not true turning the volume all the way to 80 is still not loud enough I am so outraged at this terrible headset after hours of trying to get armory crate to install properly to use the actual sound that the headset has hyperx sounds way better I have a wired hyperx headset it’s 10 times louder it sounds better don’t waste your money on this crap the microphone that doesn’t work has noise canceling but the actual sound of your game say music or whatever else other than the microphone is not noise canceling at all so don’t be fooled and don’t be like me and buy this piece of garbage I have asked for a refund and I sure as hell hope I get it

The Asus Delta S headset is a high-quality gaming headset that delivers an exceptional audio experience. I was fortunate to purchase it during a sale, and I can confidently say that it was a worthwhile investment.
The ear cups are spacious and well-padded, providing a snug and comfortable fit. I have a relatively small head, but I found that the headset was not overly tight or loose. It stayed securely in place even during extended gaming sessions, and I experienced zero ear fatigue.
While I have not had the opportunity to test the microphone extensively, it appears to be of good quality. It is a removable boom microphone, which allows for easy storage and transportation.
My only minor gripe is that the headset could be a bit tighter for smaller heads. However, this is a subjective preference, and it may not be an issue for everyone.

First impressions, loved it. Packaging is great. I enjoy ASUS products and often seek them out. Now that I’ve used it for a while this product has some serious production problems.
Software:
– Windows 10, for reason I have not been able to figure out, forgets what this product is. Reloading the drivers and all of the other tricks just doesn’t seem to work and then it comes back and starts working like expected.
Hardware:
– The directly connected USB C cable likes to twist and bind with no way to replace it. The best way to unbind it is to disconnect untwist and reconnect. This often caused my software problem to pop up.
– The packing comes with two different type of soft ear pads. The default pad melted against my skin over time causing a black goo to adhere to my skin. Fortunately, I was able to swap to the cloth ones and have had no issues since.
– One of my minor complaints is that the MIC is detachable and it will barely slide out enough that it looks like it would work but its disconnected.
– My final complaint and reason for me posting a review is that last week the plastic that holds the ear pieces to the head strap broke on both sides. This appears to be a design/manufacturing flaw where the plastic fatigues where screws attach the pieces together and falls apart. Both sides fell off a day apart.
Overall, just really disappointed. I wanted to love this product and even put up with a lot before I came and posted this review. I think I’d take my money back over getting a replacement if it was an option.
