It works! (You have to sand it down to angle it and cut your own notches etc, this is a blank!)
Jeff –
Good quality bridge that needed a little trimming and fitting work to make it perfect. Recommended for anyone with some wood work skill and access to you tube.
Jason C. –
Full disclosure, I’m not a luthier or even a violin player, but I do have some experience with stringed instruments and I used to know a very good luthier, for whatever it’s worth. I performed some very basic maintenance on a 1/2 size violin for an extended family member. It was missing the bridge and needed new strings. This bridge fit the violin perfectly and I had no issues getting the violin to make some very awful and dreadful noises afterwards. I think the wife was starting to regret having me fix it. Maybe I should take violin lessons.

Ok
Andrea Shorey –
Does not come shaped or notched as pictured, but it is a large blank to be shaped and fit for your specific violin. Very nice tone when finished.
Paul –
This is a pretty good bridge. But I expected more from this name brand. I have purchased many no name Chinese made bridges that are very similar to this. Still, it is pretty good
MommaBaker –
With a little sanding on the feet and using a metal file (and sandpaper) to etch grooves for the strings, this bridge was exactly what my daughter needed to replace her older bridge that came with her violin. This was my first time replacing a bridge and it really was not difficult at all to get a custom fit.
smartshopper –
Got this to replace a collapsed bridge. However, didn’t realized this is not shaped bridge and need to be curved to fit. I had to return it. Just be careful what you get to avoid a return.
Kamoy –
The quality of this bridge is good.
Ellis Dandee –
This bridge is much too tall for a 1/4 size violin. The strings are lifted way too high off the fingerboard.
