Works perfect with my a7iii. Simple as plugging it in and selecting ceate new video capture device in OBS, capture device pops up automatically as usb. Audio passes through from the camera as well and sounds quite good tbh. Best webcam I’ve ever had!

This product is excellent for the price. I had a similar experience to another reviewer who reported that they could only use it with OSB the first time they used it and then it stopped working. Unlike that reviewer, I found that I could use it with other software such as Microsoft Camera and it worked fine with that. The problem seems to be a firmware issue with the device that changes the device ID or something. After it stops working, OSB can’t find it any more and does not recognize it as a capture card. Other software is unaffected by this problem. If you’re not live streaming, it won’t be a problem for you because you can import your content to OSB as a media file. If you are live streaming, you *might* be able to connect to your camera by importing the other software as a source but I have not tried this because I don’t use my camera for live streaming. The picture quality is excellent when just using it to capture from a HDMI camera (in my case, I am using a BMD Studio Camera and it works perfectly, allowing me to to avoid buying an expensive field monitor to do the exact same thing I am doing now). If you are experienced with computers you will have no problem with this capture card. If you are less experienced, you might need to put in a little more effort to get it working, but I don’t think it is a serious handicap compared to the benefits. I deducted 1 star due to the issues about OSB compatibility, especially since most users will want to use it for that purpose.

Excelente para capturar video desde una consola o Fire TV

Used at work for getting screenshots of computers’ BIOS and making help videos. Worked in OBS with no extra setup required.

I don’t have a lot of cameras in my collection, but I was not able to get this to work with the cameras I have that have HDMI ports. I’m going to blame this primarily on the cameras, but it is no less disappointing. I’d been waiting a while to see if I might acquire another device with which to test this that might work better, but for my purposes, I’m trying to move away from stand-alone cameras and more on mobile devices that serve mulitple purposes and many of them now have video out capabiltiies so you can even watch what you’re filming on a secondary monitor as well as use them for streaming video. So I’m giving this unit a tiny benefit of the doubt but if I do happen to pick up a nice camera in the future, I’ll probably just pick up an Elgato card instead.

Honestly I know nothing about capture cards so when I told my friend I got one for 10 dollars he told me it’s probably a scam. But this thing works perfectly with nearly zero latency
Perfectly captured my old systems on my PC for streaming. You will need to use a software like OBS to finalize it and the audio capture could be a bit annoying to figure it at first but once you do you’re golden.

So this is really for more for things you need to record that doesn’t have to have a live output. If you noticed it’s only a USB out and an HDMI in. I use this to use my phone as a monitor for my camera and with a type-c adapter it works perfectly. Great resolution, easily recognized by every device I plug it into, and hardly any setup. If you are looking to record gameplay I highly recommend getting one with HDMI passthrough, but there are similar devices to this exact one that just add that feature for not much more.
